Is there any link where one can get information re future 3D broadcasts from for example BBCHD. Sorry I have not got sky but are there any other broadcasts on Freesat? Last night at ~Proms and Olympics were very enjoyable indeed.

The ones they have broadcast are part of a two year trial, so there will be more - but as far as I'm aware they haven't announced any further plans yet.

Though I'd expect some 3D stuff over Xmas.

The change of BBC-HD to BBC2-HD is likely to make 3D a bit awkward as simulcasting BBC1-HD and BBC2-HD with one in 3D is likely to be a tad contentious.

thanks very much for that assistance. Just as a matter of interest when will BBCHD be changing to BBC2 HD?

Date not yet announced only the intention. Some changes to the BBC HD satellite transponder transmission paramaters are scheduled for 27th September. These may well be part of the switch.
