Grim story. Grim ending. "There should have been a better way."

You have to admire the indefatigability of Doctor Who fans. That the Myrka etc can be sat through and then described as only "almost" embarrassing!

You can just imagine Micheal Grade et al sat round reading the viewer feedback. "Well, we gave it our best shot, but still they're giving it the benefit of the doubt. Will nothing put them off? Right - cacking up fondly remembered baddies isn't working - let's give 'em Bertie ****ing Bassett."

Its not really that bad of a story. Timeflight was worse. Still another story of every character apart from the tardis crew dying. If Moff had written this he would of done some cheap way later in the series pretending it never happenned.
