How sad that Kenny has gone. He was brilliant. RIP and many condolenseces to his family and friends.
I loved Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen especially when they appreared on The Morecambe and Wise Show.
My favourite act was when they would do "I'm The King Of The Swingers" from the Jungle Book.

Midnight In Moscow was my favourite. I was a Radio Luxemberg listener back when pop music was considered by the BBC to be dangerous rubbish that those Americans had but not the sort of thing we British could hear from them. Kenny Ball was just as big as anybody back then along with artists in the charts with great music from many bands that were all making records in their own style. I will always have soft spot for Kenny who made along with the rest of the band music that filled the airwaves with music that was special. All my best wishes to his family and fans, God bless you Kenny.
