i had a problem too. it happens on a lot of mobile devices since they integrated with facebook.

it's the popup window it doesn't know how to position itself on tablets. it's the same on my nokia.

you can use the mobile login
https://s.digitalspy.com/dsid/login/...ums%2F&l=1&m=1
Code:
https://s.digitalspy.com/dsid/login/?redirect=%2Fforums%2F&l=1&m=1
which has a regular login box. then click for the full version of the forums. it will remember your preference even if for some reason it logs you out.

i use that link as my short cut to the ds forums.
hmmm thats kind of put me off getting one.

Don't then.

Seems a bit weird. It'll take you two seconds and you'll only have to do it once.

Wouldn't let it put you off, it's a minor irritation of what is otherwise a great device.

Everything was going fine until I came to a bit where they wanted me to drag answers into a box using a mouse. It just would not drag.
There is Mobile Opera and Firefox too.

$99 would be pretty cheap. the Nexus 7 is a nice device but it has clearly been made to a budget.

i think making one to half that budget might be a step too far.

Considering the parts cost of the Nexus 7 is apparently around $150 they would have to do some serious savings to get under $99.

Might this be a case of giving away the razor and making a fortune on the blades - in other words hoping that their app store will be the main source of income?

that was the model with the Nexus 7 really. they aren't making much money on it.

Nope. I spent a tenner on a decent case for when I'm out and about. Don't use a case at home.

I bought a case for a quid. I only use it for when the thing is in my ruck sack or something like that. It-s a 7" kindle case.

Do members use a screen protector on their device? I'm asking because the screen is suppose to be scratch resistant.

I've got a leather case which protects the screen when not in use. I also have a small 'V' shaped scratch on the bezel, near the camera. Been there ages though, so no idea how it got there. Rest of screen is fine.
