Fantasy EastEnders | I've Got Class
Monday October 1st 2012 Sharon is delighted when Jack organises a meal in order for their respective children to become acquainted! However, when Sharon and Jack try to get to know each other more personally over dinner- the atmosphere turn sour when they hear Amy's screams from the other room. The adults both rush to the children, and are shocked to see a red mark on Amy's face- presumably from Dennis hitting her! Dennis denies doing such a thing- and Sharon accuses Amy of lying! Jack demands both Sharon and Dennis leave- and it seems any spark between the pair has disappeared! Alfie struggles to run the Vic on his own following Kat's move to the B&B after she confessed to having an affair with Derek Branning. His troubles are added to when Phil turns up and tells him that if he doesn't have the rent in his hands by midnight- Alfie is out! With Phil's ultimatum on his mind- Alfie is forced to contact his new arch enemy Derek to see if he will pay for any illegal gear to be stored in the Vic! When Derek delivers some knock off booze- Alfie is handed a wad of cash! However, when Phil makes a return to the Vic to reiterate his warning- he spots Derek leaving via the store room! As he makes his way into the pub- he finds the stolen goods- and tells Alfie he's out on his ear regardless... Kat feels guilty that she has not allowed Alfie to see Tommy since her confession- and her guilt is added to when Jay speaks to her- telling her that before things get better- she'll have to face up to her actions and give up the thing that means the most to her. He tells her that he had to give up Abi- and his message can be interpreted by Kat in whatever way she wants. Tanya acts as a source of support to Sharon when she comes knocking on her door in tears! Sharon confesses that she struggles to cope with the thought of Dennis becoming independent- and with every bump and graze Dennis suffers- she always feels someone must be responsible. Tanya suggests that Dennis and Oscar have a sleepover- as Sharon trusts Tanya and it'll be a good way for her to get used to time away from her son! Sharon says goodbye to Dennis- and thanks Tanya for her kindness. Kat makes her way over to The Vic- but is horrified to see the punters on the street and a sign which says: 'Closed until further notice.' Her confusion is added to when Jean, Mo and Alfie make their way out onto the street with their belongings. As Mo and Alfie load up a taxi- Jean informs Kat that they've been kicked out and they'll be staying in a local hotel. Alfie looks at Kat in disgust and tells her that one of the main reasons they're staying at a hotel is because he can't stand to be in the same home as her. At the B&B, Sharon sits alone in her room looking through old photos! When it comes to a photo of her wedding day with Dennis- Sharon becomes emotional and reaches for a bottle of painkillers from her handbag. Has Sharon got a whole new bunch of demons to face?

Tuesday October 2nd 2012 A furious Roxy turns up at the B&B to confront Sharon after she hears that Dennis hit Amy! Roxy demands that Dennis apologises to Amy- but Sharon tells her this will not be possible as Dennis spent the night at Oscar's. Roxy rants at Sharon- criticising her parenting techniques- but Kat jumps to Sharon's defense- forcing Roxy to face up to the fact that she is hardly 'Mother of the Year'- Amy nearly drowned after Roxy let a murderer babysit her! Phil struggles to find an immediate tenant for the Vic- and when Billy suggests he move in himself- Phil rejects the suggestion as he feels he may get the urge to begin drinking if he is surrounded by alcohol 24/7. Patrick overhears the conversation- and suggests he take charge for a while- until Phil can find a more permanent landlord! Phil and Patrick shake on the idea- and Max- who has overheard everything- decides to pay a visit to Cora to see if she is aware of her potential new home! Christian, Syed and Yasmin are invited to a family dinner by Zainab- as she feels Christian cares enough about her son to be invited around her dinner table! Masood panics when Zainab sends him out food shopping- and when he is being served in the Minute Mart; Denise lets slip that his brother AJ entered the train station carrying a bunch of roses! Max arrives at the charity shop- where he finds Sasha and Cora unpacking a box of old clothes! Max gives Sasha twenty pounds- and tells her to go for an early lunch at McKlunky's! He then shuts up the charity shop- and an inquisitive Cora asks if everything is okay. Max assures her everything is fine- and drops the Vic into the conversation- asking if she and Patrick have any plans to invest now Phil is looking for a new tenant. Cora laughs at the suggestion- but is lost for words when Max reveals Patrick will be temporary landlord! Cora storms out of the charity shop- leaving Max to unpack the rest of the delivery! Tanya reassures Sharon that she saw Dennis and Oscar off to school and they were fine! Sharon tells Tanya that when she has a place of her own- Oscar will be allowed over whenever he likes! Kat confesses to the women that she'd love it if someone looked after Tommy so she could enjoy herself- but Tanya makes a bad joke- saying if screwing around with Derek is enjoyment then they obviously have different definitions of the word. Before Kat can retaliate, Cora storms in to confront Patrick- who is playing a game of cards with Jay! Kat is shocked by Cora's revelation that Patrick will be moving into the Vic- and Kat asks why Patrick is doing it so soon after Alfie left- it'll break his heart! Patrick defends himself- saying he sees it as a favour for Alfie- after all Alfie has been through he'd be pleased to see the Vic is in good hands. Kat realises the heartache she has caused- and rushes out onto the street in tears! As she walks towards the Vic- she sees Alfie taking more of his stuff from the pub in bin bags! When she calls his name- he ignores her and goes back inside- leaving a hysterical Kat stood in the middle of the Square!

Thursday October 4th 2012 A clearly fatigued Kat listens to the familiar sound of Tommy's gurgling after she failed to get any sleep the previous night. Sharon knocks on the door- but finds that it's locked. Realising Kat's upset- Sharon sits against the door- telling her that every marriage has problems- but hiding away from them doesn't solve them- if anything it makes them worse. She also tells her that the longer she locks herself away- the more people with think of her affair with Derek- if she goes back to normal then people will start to forget. Downstairs, Jay is shocked when Patrick asks if he would like to become a barman at The Queen Victoria. When Jay tells Patrick that Phil would throw them out on their ear if he discovered that Jay was working behind the bar- Patrick admits he's spoken to Phil about a more permanent fixture- Patrick will soon become the owner of the pub! Tanya arrives at the B&B with Oscar so she and Sharon can take the children to school together- and whilst Dennis rushes out to greet his friend- Sharon throws an empty bottle of painkillers in the bin! As she makes her way out of the B&B- she hears Kat come downstairs and smiles at her. Tanya decides to apologise for yesterday's comments- and invites Kat to join the bookclub! Derek is visited in the 'Emporium' by Joey- who asks how it feels to be public enemy number one. Derek speaks up to his actions- saying he's a professional man and he's clever enough to realise an affair takes more than one person- if the other residents fail to realise this- they're idiots! However, Joey makes a comment in Kat's defense- telling Derek that while Kat also played her part- her consequence is the break up of her marriage, as well as the fact she's seen her newly estranged husband lose his home due to Derek's actions! Zainab is preparing the family meal- and is delighted when Masood tells her that Denise saw AJ with a bunch of flowers! She instantly jumps to the conclusion he must be ready to forgive Aliyah- and she feels so strongly- she invites Aliyah around for the meal- however, she finds out the flowers were in fact not for Aliyah, but for Aliyah's mother who is ill in hospital! Zainab cancels the meal as after speaking to Aliyah she discovers how close AJ was to Aliyah's mother! She instead sends Masood to get AJ's favourite DVD! At the boxing gym, Michael tells Jack that he should speak to Sharon- after all- he and Janine never spoke and now she's walked out and left him holding the baby. When Jack states that he and Sharon do not have a child- Michael tells him that if he thinks she's worth fighting for- he should fight. Jean pays a visit to Kat- and tells her that Alfie is keen to speak to her- and he'd also like to see Tommy. When Kat refuses to take Tommy in case he gets caught in the crossfire- Jean delivers an ultimatum on behalf of Alfie- either he gets to have regular access to Tommy- or he'll call the solicitors with one thing on his mind- divorce papers.

Friday October 5th 2012 With Alfie's ultimatum still playing at the back of her mind- Kat decides to try get her life back on track; starting by visiting her ex-lover Derek- pleading with him to hand over the keys to the flat he bought for them. Surprising, Derek complies with Kat's wishes- and tells her that the least he can do is give her the flat for free given the repercussions of their affair! Kat is surprised by Derek's unfamiliar kindness- but thanks him for the flat! Kat then pays a visit to Mr Lister- and asks if it would be possible if she followed in the footsteps of her daughter Zoe and then relative Stacey by reopening the clothes stall! Mr Lister agrees to give Kat a one month trial on the stall- starting from first think Monday morning! Sharon speaks to Jack for the first time since Monday; and Dennis apologises for hitting Amy. The adults then decide to go out for a meal in the Arjee Bharjee that evening- and Jack asks Sharon that if they're really serious about each other- Sharon should visit Jim in the home he is staying at- given her history with Dot and the kindness she has always showed- Sharon is delighted that Jack trusts her alone with his ailing father! Phil and Patrick sign paperwork which puts Patrick in the frame as the latest owner of the Vic! As a kind gesture, Patrick invites Phil back to the B&B for a meal- but Phil kindly refuses the offer- saying that while the past few months have been tense- he does care about Jay; and he knows him well enough to realise that just the thought that Patrick is speaking to Phil- nevermind engaging in business- will upset him. Tanya is visited by Kat- who asks whether it be possible if she hosts the next book club- whenever that may be. Max jokes that the Kat Moon he knows wouldn't be seen dead at a book club- but Tanya shoots him down- telling him that Kat is clearly aiming for a new start. Max wonders why Tanya is being so nice to Kat- the woman who had an affair with the man Tanya clearly hates. However, Kat puts Max in his place- saying he shouldn't be delivering the lecture on affairs- much to Tanya's humour! Lola tells Billy that she believes he should be a bit more polite to Jay- given he'll be finding out the date of his trial in the coming weeks. However, Billy asks more about whether she knows the date of Ben's trial- as he wants to see him go down for murdering an innocent woman. Lola rebels against Billy- telling him Jay was right- they're the same- Billy watched Jase die. She also reminds him of the stories she has heard from Phil- about the man who used to beat Jamie. Billy tells her that he's a changed man- but Lola correctly tells him that Jay is trying to change. AJ tells Zainab and Masood he is leaving Walford- as soon as he has his stuff together. When Masood asks why- AJ tells them recent events have shown life to be too short- he and Aliyah will give things another go and this time they're going to make it work. Zainab helps AJ pack his stuff- and Masood and AJ share a hug before AJ walks out into the evening!

Monday October 8th 2012 Hour long episode It's the day of Jay's 18th birthday- and Jay is surprised to receive a card from Dawn, Summer and Gary! Within Dawn's card is a note- telling him that she hopes he finds peace and she knows that despite everything- he isn't a bad person. Tanya allows Abi to visit Jay on this one occasion- and she makes her way over to the B&B and presents him with a watch that used to belong to her grandfather Jim! Jay kisses Abi in light of her kindness- but any other passion is defused when Lola turns up with a pictureframe containing a nice 'snap' of Lola, Jay and Lexi. Kat is excited to start work on her stall- and the day gets off to a great start when she manages to sell half of her stock within the first hour! However, Kat loses her touch when Alfie turns up out of the blue and demands to see Tommy. When Kat pleads he hang around until the end of her shift- Alfie reminds her of his ultimatum. Not wanting to risk her placement on the stall- Kat leaves Alfie at the helm whilst she collects Tommy from the B&B- where Denise is keeping an eye on him! Sharon tells an elated Jack that she will be paying a visit to Jim on Friday- but Derek overhears and refuses to allow Sharon near his father- branding her a 'stranger' to Jim- also stating that if Jack took every 'notch on his bedpost' to see their father- Jim would probably faint by struggling to keep up. Sharon tells Derek bluntly that she isn't a stranger to Jim- they've been incredibly close in the past. Derek accepts this- but tells Jack that Jim dislikes instability. Patrick is excited about his launch party at the Vic that evening- and tells Tracey and Ray that their jobs are 100% safe whilst he is at the helm of the Vic! He also calls on birthday boy Jay and funloving Kim- inviting them both to join him and Tracey behind the bar! With the 'new look' bar staff ready, Roxy asks if they'll be room for her behind the bar; as she desperately needs the money. Patrick puts Roxy in the role of waitress- telling her that his plans for the Vic will see the ordinary 'pub lunch' taken to whole new levels. Jack breaks it to Sharon that after Derek's cruel words- he doesn't think it would be a good idea to reintroduce her to Jim until there is a bigger sense of stability. While at first Sharon puts on a brave face- it's clear Jack's rejection has hit her hard when she reaches for the painkillers once again! Kat finishes her day on the stall- and immediately sets off to find Tommy and Alfie! She finds them in the playground- but Kat stays out of sight as she listens to Alfie discuss her with Tanya. Kat is happy when Tanya offers her support- with Tanya telling Alfie that Kat is just as hurt by her action as he is- but instead of launching scathing attacks on her now estranged husband- she's trying to make a new life for herself. Kat decides to let Alfie spend a little more time with Tommy- and walks away unnoticed. The launch of Patrick's tenure at the Vic starts well; even an unsure Cora manages to raise a smile as her granddaughters Abi and Lauren deliver an 'interesting rendition' of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' on the karaoke! Next to face the cruel judgement of the Vic regulars are Jack, Max and Derek- who provide a earsplitting version of 'I Want to Break Free' by Queen! Phil makes an appearance at the launch- and is happy to see Jay raising a smile whilst he is working the bar! He approaches him- and when Jay turns his back- Phil simply wishes him a happy birthday! Billy turns up- and informs Jay that Lola is unable to attend due to her curfew. Billy takes this opportunity to apologise for his actions and treatment of Jay since the murder reveal; and the pair shake hands over the bar! It's at this moment that Shirley walks in...

Tuesday October 9th 2012 Shirley ignores the look of surprise on the faces of many regulars- and instead inquires as to why Phil- an alcoholic- is socialising in the pub after all this time. She suggests that it could perhaps be down to guilt; suggesting Phil could be drinking away his troubles. The pub looks bemused, and a desperate Phil thinks fast, telling Shirley that is son is awaiting a murder trial: he has every right to be troubled. Shirley wishes Jay a happy birthday- before reminding the pub that George would've been celebrating his third birthday with Heather in a few weeks- but because of Ben's actions; he'll be celebrating his birthday with his father- who has missed out on much of George's life. Denise returns from the toilet- and is surprised to see Shirley shouting the odds! Patrick looks at Denise- and Denise realises that she should take Shirley back to the B&B. Alfie returns Tommy to Kat- and Kat is surprised when Alfie engages in small talk about her first day back at the stall. She replies by telling him it went well; but she understands that she shouldn't be on the stall- if it weren't for her actions they'd still be together in the Vic. Alfie notices two microwave meals on her worksurface; and asks if one of them is for Derek. Kat replies by telling him that she bought it for him- if he wants he can eat with her and Tommy. Alfie accepts Kat's offer- and she is delighted by this slight bit of progress. A distracted Sharon fails to notice that an empty painkiller bottle has found it's way into one of Dennis' games- and she is flawed when he produces it and asks what it is. She tells him that it's an adults way of getting rid of stress- knowing that if she slips up by telling Dennis their proper use, he may realise that she has been misusing them. Downstairs, Denise attempts to get through to Shirley, telling her that shouting at the world won't bring Heather back. Shirley accepts this- but says she won't feel closure until those responsible go down. Denise is bemused- asking that if she feels that Jay needs to go down- why has she forgiven him? This gets Shirley emotional- as she tells Denise she doesn't want to get Jay sent down- and she's withdrawn vital information from the police which may result in him doing so! Max, Tanya, Lauren, Abi and Cora joke about how oblivious Oscar is to the world- anything could happen and for him it could be excused as just a complicated game. Unbeknownst to Tanya- she strikes a nerve with Max when she remarks that at Oscar's age- there is no fear- no secrets- life is just one big game...

Thursday 11th October 2012 Alfie is horrified to find himself waking up in Kat's bed- and by the way that Kat is grinning over her coffee- it's a painful reminder that the pair had sex last night. Kat questions why Alfie is rushing off so soon- and he leaves Kat heartbroken by telling her that last night should never have happened- he was drunk and he fully regrets it! A desperate Phil offers Shirley money for her silence but she refuses- saying that she is sick of him having some sort of hold over her, and with the confirmation that she can get Phil sent down whenever she likes in her mind- the tables have turned and she has a hold over him. When Shirley returns to the B&B- she tells Denise that Jay's freedom may just be the price she has to pay in order to see Phil suffer. Jack is called away from the boxing club whilst he is looking after Dennis- and he leaves Derek in charge whilst he goes out. Derek is confused to see Dennis playing with an empty painkiller bottle. Dennis explains that 'mummy' says that all adults take them when they are stressed. This leads a scheming Derek to ask Dennis about his father- and when Dennis Jr. says his father died a hero; Derek tells the truth about Dennis' death- leaving the poor boy in tears! Jack returns to the boxing club- and sees Dennis in tears; when Jack asks him what's wrong- Derek responds for him; lying he fell over. A clearly terrified Dennis nods in agreement- and Jack appears to buy the story. Jay is upset to hear that his trial begins on the 5th of November- running simultaneously with Ben's trial. Billy and Lola offer their support- telling Jay how all he has to do is tell the truth; if he tells the truth on the stand, he will receive a lesser sentence. Billy leaves Lola and Jay to talk whilst he goes to stock up on some nappies- and Jay tells Lola that although he does have feelings for her; his heart will always remain with Abi. Billy bumps into Phil- who has yet to be told of Ben and Jay's trial dates. Billy tells Phil that the pair will discover their fates on the week commencing 5th of November. Shirley overhears the conversation- and when Billy walks away; Shirley gives Phil the worst ultimatum- confess all to the police himself: or she'll stand up in court and make her revelation. Alfie meets up with Tyler- and confesses his guilt that he slept with his cheating wife Kat last night. Tyler tells him that in order to prove to Kat he doesn't love her anymore, he should find another woman to show off- a younger, prettier woman. Alfie is confused by what Tyler is saying until he sees Roxy walk into the pub...

Friday October 12th 2012 Roxy refuses to pretend to be in a relationship with Alfie- and she tells Alfie that she genuinely felt an attraction to him; if there ever is a relationship between them- she'll only be apart of it if she knows that her love will be reciprocated. When Alfie pleads with her, telling her she hasn't got a boyfriend so they're doing nothing wrong- Roxy confesses she recently joined a dating website! Derek turns up at the B&B to see Sharon, and she's horrified when she discovers the true extent of his manipulation. Sharon tells him that not many men get kicks from upsetting children- but Derek responds, telling Sharon that not all adults use painkillers inappropriately. Sharon is shocked when she realises Derek knows about her addiction- but even more so when Derek tells her that if she gets herself to a help meeting at the community centre, he won't tell Jack. Billy is confused when he sees Phil looking at a derelict block of flats on the computer- and when he asks about them, Phil says that he's planning a restoration project. Lola is delighted by this prospect- even suggesting when the flats are done- she and Lexi can move into one to get space from Billy. Phil reluctantly agrees- but when Lola leaves, Billy correctly guesses that the flats aren't a restoration project. What is Phil's intention? Roxy is happy when she receives a message from a man named Scott McMullen on the dating website- and the pair exchange phone numbers. Alfie turns up and pleads with her to give his idea a go- but Roxy grins and announces she might possibly be about to start a whole new chapter of her life! She is unimpressed when Alfie tries to ward her off from internet dating- but Roxy stands firm on the matter and tells Alfie that if he was any sort of friend- he'd be happy for her and respect her decisions. Patrick gets Cora's approval that the first week at the pub has gone down a storm- and she accepts when he asks if she'd like to join him and live upstairs in the pub. Max and Tanya celebrate with the couple- but the group are shocked when Carol returns to the Square unannounced! Patrick allows Max and Carol upstairs so they can talk- and Cora and Tanya speculate as to why Carol is back without the kids. Upstairs, Carol asks Max if he remembers what events have taken place in the past two weeks- he looks blank until Carol gets emotional- telling him it was her 50th birthday just recently- and she didn't get so much as a card from any of her family. Max apologises- but Carol reminds him that the second anniversary of Bille's death has just passed. Max asks her why she is back without the kids- Carol reveals that Bianca got an early release and is staying with the kids in Suffolk- for good.

Monday October 15th 2012 Syed receives a letter through the post from his one-time father in law- Qadim Shah. The letter asks him to meet up with Qadim at his office on Thursday- and a worried Syed turns to Masood for advice. Masood tells him that he should go, but he will stay outside in the car. Syed agrees to this arrangement- and tells Masood that Zainab and Christian can't find out. However, Christian has overheard the whole conversation.. A broken Kat starts her day at the stall, with Alfie's cruel rejection playing on her mind. Roxy makes the effort to talk to Kat- telling her that she honestly believes Alfie still loves her. When Kat asks Roxy if Alfie has given her the full details of their recent evening together- Roxy is stunned. Roxy tells Kat to speak to Alfie- but will it make the situation better or worse? Sharon goes to the addicts meeting at the community centre- and meets a woman called Paula Young- whose son committed suicide after he could not fund his drug addiction. When the meeting begins to progress- Sharon flees as she does not feel she is as desperate as some of the people in the meeting. Derek watches her leave- and decides to tell Jack about Sharon's struggles. Max asks why Carol left her grandchildren and daughter in Suffolk for life in Albert Square- and realises she has not yet got over Billie's death when she states that she needs to be close to him. Jack tells Carol that nothing she can do will bring Billie back- although he respects her decision to stay in Walford. Carol tells her brothers that it was Bianca who told her to come back to Walford- and she is proud that her daughter is finally trying to break away from home. Michael is visited at the boxing club by Lola- and she asks if he would be interested in letting her babysit Scarlett whilst Whitney is away. Michael accepts- and thanks Lola for allowing him some time to himself. Lola is shocked when Michael invites her back to his place so that he can get some sleep with the comfort of knowing that Scarlett is safe downstairs. Lola accepts Michael's offer- and phones Billy to tell him she will be home late. Derek spots Jack coming from Max's house- and tells him that Sharon is battling an addiction to painkiller's and he thinks he needs to speak to her before things get worse. Phil overhears what Derek has to say about Sharon- and realises that he should get to Sharon before Jack does to warn her that her secret is out. Patrick notices that something is wrong with Alfie- and invites him upstairs for a chat. However, whilst Patrick was hoping Alfie would tell him his troubles- he is shocked when Alfie accuses him of kicking a man whilst he is down by purchasing the pub from underneath his nose.

Tuesday October 16th 2012 Sharon is shocked when Phil turns up at the B&B and informs her that Derek has told Jack about her addiction. The realisation that she could potentially soon become the gossip of the Square makes Sharon emotional- leading Phil to comfort her, telling her that he's just surprised that if her addiction got to such a low point- she didn't turn to him: a former alcoholic who has overcome an addiction. Jack pays a visit to Paula- who refuses to disclose information as to whether Sharon attended the meeting that evening. Jack pleads with her, telling her that Sharon's addiction can only get better if he finds out, as he will help her through it. However, Paula remains adamant that she has a confidence agreement with the people she speaks to, and she doesn't plan on breaking it anytime soon. Christian and Syed pay a visit to Masood and Zainab's for a meal- but the atmosphere is ruined when Christian asks Syed about his plans for Thursday. With no choice but to answer Christian's question- Syed confirms that he is going to pay a visit to Qadim. Zainab tells him that he is 'forbidden' to visit Qadim- but Syed tells her he is a grown man and will make his own decisions. Alfie apologises to Patrick- and opens up to him about how he had sex with Kat. Patrick scolds him for leading Kat to believe that they had a chance to revive their marriage, leading Alfie to tearfully admit that despite he has told Kat otherwise- they do in fact have a chance at giving things another go. Sharon is unable to concentrate on work at the R&R, as she keeps on thinking that Jack will walk through the doors any minute and announce her secret to the whole bar. Joey realises something is wrong and tells Sharon to go home and get an early night- but as Sharon leaves, she bumps into Jack. With no choice but to face her lover, she tells him that she's been battling with a painkiller addiction for the past few months- which confirms Jack's worst fears. He tells her that there are so many dangers related to addiction- but Sharon tells him that she knows which is why she is seeking help. Jack makes her promise that she will remain 'clean' and take him to all meetings and any medical appointments she attends- wanting to keep Jack happy- she agrees. Michael is shocked when Lola makes a move on him whilst they are watching a film together- and an embarrassed Lola tries to make her excuses in order to leave. Michael tells her to stay- and kisses her. Michael tells her that anything else that happens would be illegal- and Lola tells him she understands. The pair agree that Lola should go- and after Lola leaves, Michael breaks down and rests against the door.

Thursday October 18th 2012 Carol is forced to face her elder brother Derek- who insists she returns to Suffolk to be with Bianca. When Carol refuses to leave Billie behind- Derek loses his temper and pushes her to the ground- telling her to stop getting caught up with the past. Paula is the only person to witness Derek's violence- and rushes to comfort Carol. Syed pays a visit to Qadim- and is confused when Qadim hands him a cheque £50,000. Qadim tells him that this money is for Syed and Amira to start a future with each other- he knows about Syed's money troubles and the only price he has to pay is moving away from Christian. Syed takes the cheque- and as he leaves- Qadim gives him a note with a date and address- if Syed is not at that place at the time specified- the cheque will become worthless as Qadim will ensure it's not cashed in. As Masood drives Syed back to the Square- they debate whether Syed should take the money and live without Christian- or forever be living off handouts from the family. Whilst at first Syed is adamant he is going to destroy the cheque- Masood tells him he could always cash it in early and flee with Christian... Paula takes Carol to the community centre- where the pair meet up with Ian; who is organising a community day for Halloween. Ian and Carol tell Paula about the community she could potentially be moving to more permanently- but Paula confesses that life in the city wasn't all it shaped up to be- and anything that happens on Albert Square has happened in the city many times before. Roxy is contacted once again by Scott- the man from the dating website. Roxy tells Michael how she is really excited that her love life could finally be reignited- but she soon realises that something is bothering Michael. When she starts to quiz him, Michael flips and tells her not to come near him again- or else. Phil meets with Shirley and gives her the address of the abandoned flats- and when Shirley questions why she needs to go there- Phil tells her that he doesn't expect her to go- but if she decides to go he'll be waiting for her. Shirley asks when she should go to the flats- and wonders what will happen when Phil tells her to be there tomorrow. Syed tells Christian that if he wants- they can move away together. Christian is bemused- until Syed shows him the cheque for £50,000- Christian is unsure when Syed tells him that he has outsmarted Qadim and is going to cash the cheque in early- aswell as giving Qadim false hope by giving him a bogus phonecall saying he plans to move away with Amira. As the pair start packing their bags- Zainab wonders if the plan will work.

Friday October 19th 2012 Tamwar tells Roxy that the reason Christian has failed to answer her text messages and phone calls from the previous night is because Christian and Syed are planning to flee Walford with Qadim's money- though both have failed to realise that Qadim will have most likely been notified that £50,000 has been withdrawn from his account. Suddenly Tamwar becomes aware of the fact he should warn his family that their plan has a fatal flaw. At the block of flats, Phil is surprised when Shirley meets him outside- and is confused when he leads her up to the roof. When the pair are up there, Shirley tells Phil he knows how much she dislikes heights- but Phil shocks Shirley by nearing the edge and telling her how his biggest fear is losing her. A confused Shirley asks Phil if he's going to jump- but Phil says no- he's not going to jump: she's going to push him. Christian tells Syed that he's going to say goodbye to Ian, Lucy and Bobby- as that family unit has changed his life in so many ways and he feels that they deserve to know that he'll be in touch in future. Syed inquires as to whether Christian has spoken to Roxy about their plans- but Christian tells him that he doesn't want to say goodbye because that way it seems like the end for them. Unsure about what Phil is saying- Shirley nervously laughs- telling Phil that he can't force her to push him. However, Phil tells her that this is her only way of getting justice for Heather- her empty threats of going to the police never go through because she knows that she would be implicated in the crime for covering up the evidence. Shirley tells him that she never would push him- but Phil tells her that this is her last chance of justice- he's going to stay with Grant and Sam if she doesn't go through with it. Zainab and Masood are in the middle of preparing the Arjee Bhajee for a small goodbye party when Tamwar rushes in and tells his parents that there is no way Christian and Syed can leave the country without Qadim finding out. As reality hits the couple- Masood comes to the shocking conclusion that if Qadim knows- noone is safe. Christian enjoys a cup of tea with Ian, Lucy and Bobby- and Ian asks whether Jane has heard of Christian's plans. Christian says that whilst she does not know yet- she will in the near future- besides his absence from Albert Square will not effect her life anyway! As Christian leaves the Beale house- he runs into Roxy and the pair share an emotional farewell. Christian explains that he is running late- but as soon as Syed and himself are settled with Yasmin: Roxy and Amy will be the first visitors. Phil stills stands on the edge- and he questions a clearly unstable Shirley on what her relationship with Heather really meant to her- when Phil suggests that Shirley never really loved Heather as much as she loved Phil- Shirley flips and charges towards Phil- however, instead of pushing him- she breaks down in his arms and tells him that she loves Phil unconditionally- and she hates herself for loving him. Phil and Shirley move away from the edge and break down together as Phil explains his feelings for her. Christian is confused as her arrives back to an empty flat- and as he looks around to see that all wardrobes and cupboards have been emptied- he fails to notice a shadow from the bathroom. As Christian picks up the phone to call Syed- Qadim emerges from his hiding place and puts a hand over Christian's mouth- leaving a terrified Christian helpless...

WALFORD WEEKLY Janet Suzman, Olivia Poulet join 'EastEnders' 1972 Oscar nominee Janet Suzman has been cast in the regular role of Sheila Hart- a former Walford resident whose family once owned a fruit and vegetable stall to rival that of the Beale family. Sheila was terrorised by youths on the council estate she lived on for nearly fifty years- from the council estate she moved in with her niece Sienna. Sienna Hart will be played by Olivia Poulet- and Sienna trades her life outside Walford for Albert Square when she is purchases what once was ''Butcher's Joints''. She will use the space to manage her interior design business- ''Vision X''. Both characters will make their debut before the end of the year- and it has been confirmed that there will be no more brand new characters introduced until Spring 2013- as bosses are aiming to make their mark on the current cast, as well as attempting to draw back past characters. Seven characters 'axed' from BBC One soap

Mo Harris
Ray Dixon
Sasha Dixon
Poppy Meadow
Tamwar Masood
Whitney Dean
Fatboy
THESE seven characters will all soon depart the BBC One soap it has today been confirmed. This is hardly surprising, as the sudden announcement of new castings left forum members wondering if characters could potentially be shown the door. New producer 'I've Got Class' released this statement: 'My era on the show is all about taking the soap back to it's roots- a show where people could happily discuss the drama and appreciate characters from different age groups. These characters don't fully show off their age group- and while actors such as Shona McGarty and Chucky Venn are talented- they do not shine through compared to the other pools of talent. We'll be sad to see all seven cast members depart. While our competitors have much larger casts- we're aiming for a smaller cast which we can use to their potential, and expand upon over a period of time.' Peter Beale returns to 'EastEnders' Actor and musician Thomas Law has confirmed he will be returning to the BBC One soap on a regular basis in the coming weeks. His return scenes were shot last week, and it is thought he will appear to comfort father Ian Beale after the sentencing of Ben Mitchell. CURRENT CAST:

LOVED that last episode, that last cliffy was fantastic! Poor Christian, good to see Qadim again, he always creeped me out
I also like how you clearly have a vision for your era- to take EE back to its roots and the axings are good choices- the only one I may have objections over would be Mo but that's only due to her longevity, otherwise I agree because she adds nothing to the show. Fatboy is a character that i am stuck with as well, I don't really know what to do with him so I agree there (as you may know, I am doing a Fatboy/Lucy/Poppy love triangle but thats really due to the lack of storylines I have for him. He is better out the exit door I think) |

Great episodes, I really like them
![]() I'm loving the storylines, You made a good choice about the characters you want to axe. Can't wait for Peter's return and I'm looking forward to what storylines he'll have. |
