Discovering a new song by a loved artist
I thought I knew all of Elton Johns greatest songs, but then I recently discovered Song for Guy and haven't stopped playing it lately. Such a beautiful song.
Have you ever thought you knew all the best songs by an artist you like and then discovered a new one that you love? |

Rated R is my favourite album ever and the other day I was on Rihanna's wiki discography and I found out she had a bonus track called "Hole In My Head" and it's so good.

Occasionally, I will be listening to a Johnny Cash record, or CD, or a on my MP3 player and sometimes a new track will pop up that I have only heard once or twice, or in some cases never and its really difficult to contain my joy when this happens. A month or two back I heard Careless Love from a bootleg he did with Bob Dylan, just a fantastic tune done well. A real joy to listen to and at that point, bearing in mind I own all of JC’s back catalogue, but at that point it had passed me by. It was so special hearing it for the first time. However, you cant really share that with someone as my friends have a passing liking for Cash, my wife likes him a bit more, but no one really has that enthusiasm that a big fan has for an artist.
