As an adult Final Fantasy VII tops this list by miles but as a kid

1# Sonic the Hedgehog 2
2# Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles
3# Crash Bandicoot
4# Crash Bandicoot 2
5# Final Fantasy VII

Only one of these would made my current top Five of:

1# Final Fantasy VII
2# Uncharted 3
3# Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII
4# Final Fantasy X
5# Uncharted 2

there was another brilliant game on the sega anyone remember cannon fodder? or eath worm jim?

oh and if i had of thought of robo-cop vs terminator i would of put that down as number 2 on my list

There was also Toejam & Earl, as well as games like Rayman. Earthworm Jim was quality too.

Hmm from childhood so I guess I'll rule out anything post 1990 or so. (Also because it helps limit my mass of choices otherwise)

1. Flashback

2. Gauntlet

3. Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters

4. Summer/Winter Games

5. Cannon Fodder

1) Dungeon Keeper (PC)
2) Command & Conquer (PC)
3) Simon the Sorcerer 2 (PC)
4) Streets of Rage 3 (Megadrive)
5) Tiny Toons (Megadrive)

One and two would have always been the two games stated. A throng of games were in my mind for 3 to 5.
