I agree about Victoria, but don't forget Kimberly.

It's not always that clear cut, you can never dismiss the housewife vote for the fit young bloke. . Also, Denise isn't really going anywhere, she's good now, she'll finish good, like Jason Donovan. The viewing public like to see an improvement, the journey (yuck) can be just as important as the standard of their dancing.

Just look at last year, the fit young bloke and the improver were 1st and 2nd, Harry and Chelsee.

If you'd have looked at Darren Gough or Mark Ramprakash or Chris Hollins at this point in their series, you would never have picked them as winners.

If you'd have looked at Emma Bunton or Gabby Logan at this point you'd have said definite finalists/winners but viewers just don't tend to like the ones who are perceived as dancers already, so I don't think Denise will win even though she'll be protected by judges to the final, but Victoria may have a better chance.

Denise will be very good, but she won't win because she'll be perceived as a dancer. Also, I don't think that people will warm to her and James. I don't see Denise bringing out the "caring James" we saw with Alex. It'll be über competitive James in overdrive and I don't see the public going for that - unless they have huge and entertaining rows! That might work.

It's possible that Kimberley might suffer from the "she's a pop star she must be able to dance" bit as well if she's too good too soon. I don't know who will make the final yet (I want to see them dance first) but my prediction will be that it's the "journey" candidates - Victoria, Dani, Louis. Possibly even Colin who is a real dark horse for me at the moment. I wouldn't rule Sid out completely either - Chris Hollins got a very long way on the cheeky chappy persona, although I don't know if Ola will be able to pull that trick off again.

Nicky I'm reserving judgement on. He'll be compared to Harry and that might work against him (unless he's outstandingly good). I'm not sure that there'll be two boy band winners in a row.

Terry, your list is getting longer and longer. It went from Victoria to Victoria and Jerry to Victoria, Jerry and Kimberly.

By the time the show starts, your list will be quite lengthy, but I'm guessing there'll be a familiar pattern.

I declared myself for Julian very early on before the start of Celebrity Big Brother and he went on to be aclaimed as the best winner ever.

Last year on Strictly Come Dancing I had five favourites one of which was lumbered with a handicap before the start as history has sadly repeated this year, and Dear Russell sadly fell at the final hurdle before the final.

This year on Strictly Come Dancing Victoria and Kimberley are my two early favourites, followed by Jerry who I fell for straight away on the launch show, her strict no nonsense style and wicked sense of humour was an instant attraction for me.

So in total on two reality shows this year I have had less favourites than on just last years Strictly Come Dancing alone, and just goes to show how big the budget cuts must have been this year leaving them unable to attract the same quality of celebrities in numbers.

I can't wait for all that plus her long legs on Alan Carrs sofa on Chatty Man tonight.
