I think on the whole it seems both groups have two members each who don't get involved Harry/Niall and Nathan and Siva whist the other three from both groups can't help but get involved in arguments with each other.

Although it's clear that these individuals don't like each other none should have really said anything. Going on age The Wanted will always come off worse and they should being older.

They also are the band that have made a habit and history of nasty comments/lies towards One Direction,Christina/Britney those just being first off the top of my head something One Direction haven't done as far as i know and TW are known for their delusion about their band and achievements, especially in America.
Trust me they are total 1 hit wonders and the song is known more than the band whereas 1D have had radio play of a couple of their songs and are everywhere. Despite this 1D haven't gloated like TW and remained from what i can tell quite humbled when they should have every right to be cocky and arrogant.

From what i gather The Wanted aren't actually that likeable but are given good songs based around a dance beat so perhaps they should be more grateful and focus on achieving stable success outside of the UK.

In todays Metro there's a bit about 1D paying tribute to Margaret Thatcher on Twitter. Their fans are absolutely stupid! The article says that one 1D fan tweeted "I'm sorry, who is this person? " and one replies, "It's Market Thatcher, something to do with our queen"

Wow, just wow... I know not all of them are this stupid or immature, but these die-hard fans then can't be older than 16.

My favorite is may HE rest in peace...you can go on Wiki or Google before you make this mistake you know...

Oh, and also - is he your friend

This is the user: https://twitter.com/Perrie_Support

A few tweets down she tweets to someone that she (Margaret) was something in the UK she can't remember.

The girl could have least got her name right though.

Well, I have to say I like some of her tweets about them, at least she is not a crazed fan:

The boys have changed. A lot.

I think the boys have a reason to hate us, I really do.

I think this fandom is too judgmental

I think this fandom might have a part of the reason if the boys breakup

I think the word you're looking for is patronizing - their fans do too much of it. #LouisTomlinsonhasaperfectvoice was trending the other day, yet his voice is good, but nowhere near perfect. Interestingly it followed that Twitter spat.

You are right, that is a better word

I have seen that trend and I just couldn't believe it - how can you be so devoted that you won't admit his voice isn't outstanding.

But I'm sure Bieber fans are like that as well. They comment all the time how he is perfect, but his voice is average at best - there is something whiny about his vocal, I wasn't impressed when I heard him on SNL.

If that trend was towards Zayn, then it makes better sense as I feel he has the best voice out of all of them (not sure if perfect) - i'm sure you'd agree, but certainly not Louis - particularly because he has shown improvement. His high notes are good in particular, especially this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uQReoksLK8.

The other problem with their fans is that they seem to dedicate their lives towards them (same with Bieber) which is just ridiculous, where there are more important things in life.

Their fans probably don't know that patronizing won't help the boys at all.

@MaxTheWanted: @Louis_Tomlinson sorry did you want me? He wanted to show you this pic.twitter.com/Y8eAzWoLPn

@Sydney_Abate is that on his bedroom wall?... Lucky you for getting in there!

Even Max made a dig at Louis regarding his sexuality.
Again I don't believe he was being homophobic, Somebody posted a naked picture of him saying that Louis wanted to show him the naked picture.. He simply made a joke about why Louis would have the picture?

Yep, I know! That is why I don't use Twitter

I remember 1 girl tweeted how she isn't a fan of him, but she thinks his acoustic album is really good. Bieber retweted that and the fans jumped on her saying she isn't a true belieber and that she doesn't deserve his retweet - that is just insane!

Something that has recently started to bug me, is older 'celebs' waiting to be seen with these lads and stuff, like they want to be caught in their reflected glory

I recall that she ended up deleting her twitter account because of the abuse she got. Just insane jealousy.

#RIPEmilyfromTWFanmily was trending a while ago - people are saying 1D fans were giving her hate.

Doesn't really add much to this thread.

You could post in the appreciation thread but this is for more constructive discussion.

I have read recently that 1D are obliged to release a new album by every winter until 2016. Somehow, I don't see them together by 2016 - Simon has been riding them like dogs and there is definitely too much pressure on their shoulders. Not to mention that some crazy fans are truly disturbing. I actually feel sorry for them in this case.

Yes, I too think they won't be able to keep up the hype/world tours/yearly albums until 2016!

I kind of agree with you (for once...), I find it too much, can't imagine how they're going to do this... But:

- "A new album" doesn't necessarily mean a studio album with new tracks, could be something acoustic (like Justin Bieber's) or a greatest hits album at some point.

- We don't know even whether this is really true, there are so many rumours about 1D going round...

- If it's really true and they signed the contract, it's been THEIR decision. They must be happy with the way things are now and must feel comfortable with their current management. If not, they could have left or not signed the new contract. They're all grown ups after all and they chose to be in the pop business...

I agree with everything you have said, of course they chose this. However, I do think that in their minds, they feel like they are on a top of the world and everything is brilliant, they don't realize how crazy all this is because they don't have time to sit back and think about everything. So, I could very well see them cracking up in a few years if this hectic schedule continues.

Even if they do release a Greatest Hits or Acoustic album, they will still have world tours, I'm actually sure they will have a GH album in the future, but I don't see it too soon as they only really had huge hits with their debut single and Little Things. They have a long way to go until they reach 12-13 hits that they could put it on GH.

We'll see I'm just glad they're doing this as a group and not as individuals (such as Justin Bieber who seems to be losing it at the moment...).
They know they will have to stay grounded in order to remain successful.
But of course, the real test comes once they're tired of all this or if their success suddenly starts to fade... How will they react then? I'm not too worried about them, they seem to have the right attitude (enjoy it while it lasts, work hard, don't take it for granted).
