By a female, Take Me In your arms - Kim Weston
By a male - Higher GROUND!!!!!!!!!! Stevie Wonder and What's going on - Marvin Gaye (the latter is due to my father...he NEVER stopped playing it or singing it lol )By a female group - Love Is Here and now you're gone (the di ross speaking bits are LEGENDARY (with the little hiccup too ) - The supremes (I will always call them that...the renaming business was disgusting)By a male group - Ball of confusion - the temptations. |

So many great songs, it varies which are my favourites. But currently in the top five would be..
5. Tracks of My Tears - Smokey & The Miracles 4. What Becomes of the Broken Hearted - Jimmy Ruffin 3. Nathan Jones - The Supremes 2. Get Ready - The Temptations 1. What's Going On - Marvin Gaye BTW, anyone who hasn't heard it should check out the David Ruffin version of 'I Want You back.' Fabulous, mature version of the old Jackson Five song, that was lost in a vault for years. |
