Does anyone else have a problem running Lovefilm on ps3? I have a 30 down/3 up connection. My ps3 is wireless, about 15 feet from the virgin super hub, with a 75% strength. I've found that 1) lovefilm itself takes around 3 minutes to load, a few months ago it would open immediately. 2) films and shows are slow to load and then only play for a few seconds before buffering for 3 to 4 minutes.

I'm running it on a 1st generation 60gb system.

Any advice is appreciated in v advance

Sorry I can't help you but I know there has Been a lot of issues with lovefilm recently so it might only be a glitch on their side.

After a bit of investigating, I believe it's actually an issue with my PS3 rather than lovefilm. I did a speedtest on tenmeg.myby.co.uk/speedtest.htm - a nonflash speed test site.

With the laptop next to the PS3, the laptop came in at 24Mb. The PS3 came in at just under 5Mb.

Can anyone suggest anything to boost my PS3 speed? I can't access QoS as it's a virgin superhub...

Long shot here, do you use Unblock US for anything?

I only ask as I use it for Netflix and have noticed very slow download speeds on the 360, have not really tried to compare on the PS3.

The ps3 downloads are very slow anyway it's the same for me i get 9.4mbs on my pc but my ps3 gets 2.3mbs. No idea why this is though. Maybe it's the ps3s wireless itself.
Hardwiring it seems to sort it out though.
