Fans spoling it for other fans on DS articles

Recently I've noticed some fans - well, one in particular who I will not name - posting spoilers as comments under articles DS publishes.

One commentator was gloating that he had seen Asylum and posted about how Clara/Oswin was going to be in it immediately afterwards. He now is posting spoilers for Sat's episode.

I'd advise anyone who doesn't want things spoilt to avoid reading any article's comments. He seems to love the attention spoiling things gives to him, so be wary.

That needs to be reported to the forum owners - if you don't want to do it, give me a link and I'll take a chance on having one episode spoiled to make sure that everyone else can use the site without being subjected to that sort of abuse.

DigitalSpy is careful about not spoiling shows - I think they'll come down like a ton of bricks on someone using their articles to do it.

Name and shame him. I thought no one knew about Oswin apart from the people attending the screening.

I hope you alert the mods. It sounds like a clear breach. Thanks for the warning.

Thanks for the warning, that is incredibly mean.

Thankfully I've not seen it but was just about go looking at DW articles (so thanks for the warning!). If you see a spoiler or something which is obviously breaching the rules, when you put your cursor over the comment you see a an exclamation mark to the top right hand corner of the comment, you can report the comment from there.

*goes looking for the spoilers*

Edit: Found it. You're honestly getting upset about that?! I didn't even realise that was a spoiler, I thought everyone knew that by now. Way to get peoples hopes up

Are we talking about Uncle Pobatti's comment on the Power of Three teasers?

I didn't read that as malicious or anything, I just think he needs reminding of the forum rules is all

I dont like the idea of fans getting a preview of next weeks finale. Thats just asking for trouble.

Seemed to work fine for the opening episode of this series.

And barring the opening two parter of the last series, seems to have been okay every single time they've done it before...

Even the BBC decided to forget the rules before throwing out pictures of the semi-regenerating Doctor.
