patience is a virtue.

To be fair to Orange they said it could take 30 days. So 7 days isnt bad.

Im on Orange so dissapointed it wont be here tomorrow but its not the end of the world

I cancelled my upgrade with t-mobile telephone sales as the manager in my local T-Mobile shop said I wouldn't get it on Friday. I paid a £25 deposit and am collecting in store tomorrow.

seems new customers have already been allocated phones and had them dispatched with a UKMail reference so I thought oooh check my order and nope still not been allocated a phone

I went into my local Orange store last Friday and paid my £25 deposit for my iphone5. I phoned today to query changing from a 16gb to a 32gb and was told my 16gb is available for collection from 0800 tomorrow and will be held until 1200 on Saturday - if i do not collect it in this time it will go to the next person in the pre order queue.

I had originally phoned orange and queried upgrading over the phone but they wanted my termination fee and fee for the iphone 5 upfront and the phone would be delivered by courier within 30 days of the launch date and i wasnt happy with that so just went to the store and paid the £25 deposit instead, i can collect the phone from my shop and pay the balance there and then. Much better!

I was told by Orange when I ordered it on the phone that Apple are dispatching them direct, they aren't coming through Orange. Guy in the Apple Store in Victoria Square said the same yesterday...

As with everything its all about the new customer. You get nothing for loyalty these days. Im off today so it would have been handy to have it delivered today. I havent been text a delivery number so I guess its not on its way today. Didnt know I could reserve in store as I work about 2 mins away from Orange store and live about 10 mins from one!
