Alibi have got the rights to show this historically-based Australian crime drama

http://www.tvwise.co.uk/2012/09/alib...der-mysteries/

Yes I know it's not a UK show but there isn't a sub-forum for Australian ones

Very well constructed ABC drama, saw every episode and was not disappointed, and its back for a second season next year.

This is great. Any aussie soap is good and always looking out for older actors to see if they were in Prisoner CellBlock H.

I'm a huge fan of the books, so I was initially a bit apprehensive about this, but I loved it. It's a bit different from the books, but it's a great hour of telly perfect for snuggling up with. Can't wait for Series 2!

Really enjoyed this first series. Good acting. Liked the plots. Looking forward to it coming back. Not read the books but think I will look out for them.

The first book in the series is Cocaine Blues. It's great!

I've caught a couple of these, and have seris linked it. Quite enjoyable, and a nice change to see historical drama set in Austalia.

I loved Essie Davis in The Slap: one of the TV highlights of last year, for me.

Cheers I will look out for that. I have read books before that have been made into television series like Inspector Banks, but found that the lead characters do not match upto the ones in the book, and prefered the books to the series.

Me too. The costume designers have it spot on.

Two actresses from Wentworth, the remake of Prisoner: Cell Block H will be appearing in Season 2
