Until a few months ago I was a T-Mobile customer. After problems with speed caps (and T-M denying them), very poor speeds at work (talking about 0.1-0.2Mbps on both networks) and poor CS, I decided to give Giffgaff a go. I can't say I had major problems, but the combination of probably having to pay £2 more a month and not having exactly the best 3G coverage, I tested my T-Mobile pay as you go SIM today. It seems the speed caps are gone (or are at least higher) as I managed to get slightly more than the previous "magic wall" of 3.8Mbps and double the upload speed than before.
As I am not really keen to go back to T-Mobile and Orange don't offer a lot of data, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if Virgin Mobile have got speed caps (please no guessing) and if the unlimited data is truely unlimited? I don't use excessive amounts of data, but could be up to 4gb.
