Hahahahaaaa! Sorry.

However, that is horribly true. This country is full of lovely, talented amateur female dancers of all ages who have no one to dance with!

Totally agree Izzie. They loathe each other already

And I'm sorry but she knows exactly what she is doing. She's just playing it down.

If you can dance Bob Fosse choreography (Chicago) you can dance ballroom. The latter is not brain surgery to a trained dancer. She'll pick up everything she needs in weeks

I don't like the word ringer, but it fits.

Michelle Williams played the same role in Chicago as Denise on Broadway and in the West End. She never got higher than a 30.

Well to be fair, Michelle was on [substance allegation redacted] and had clearly been [action allegation redacted] all night before the show.

I dont find Denise annoying - she seems OK to me, but then I even like the word banter.

She is someone for everyone to chase and the other thing I will be looking for is to see if James can come up with choreography that is less 'simple and safe'.

It's interesting that male contestants never get the same scorn. They often have the same attributes which makes them dislike the female contestants.”

You're kidding? What about Jason Donovan, Dom Littlewood, Matt Di Angelo?

Anyway, there's no "hate" (certainly not from me), but some people are going to rub you up the wrong way. That's life.

Fern seems quite popular though. And the dislike for Denise doesn't appear to be universal at all. I think she'll be quite marmite - with plenty of detractors and fans. I don't reckon she'll be in as many dance offs as people think because she has a healthy fanbase.

I don't mind Denise but I suspect James will be a negative influence on her.

I quite enjoyed Denise's training clip. I don't usually like her too much (when she's been a judge) but i'm open to see if i can warm to her as a contestant, and so far so good

I liked their training clip - give me a Denise rather than an Ann Widdecombe or Nancy De'ollio any day!

The couple i'm not sure about is Louis and Flavia - cant take to him even when he was in Olympics not sure why maybe its because he seems kind of distant or something. This could easily change of course!

Anyone else get the feeling Louis doesnt like Flavia think he wanted Karen, Aliona or Kristina.

I don't think so. I think they're both just very reserved. I don't think Louis would have been any more effusive with a different pro but he just needed a more outgoing pro to balance his reserve.

We'll soon find out if theyre any more comfortable together this weekend.

I'm not sure you can read his mind that well

Every interview I have read with them since the launch show says they are getting on very well and having a good time at training so I don't think there is any issues with them and as far as I can read into the interviews they both are delighted to be paired up.

Here is one here that I can find for the moment... They don't seem to be any different to any other couple as far as I can tell.

Yes, I expected it to be worse based on the comments here. She often annoys me, but they seem fine together.
