Yahoo/MSN Messenger on PDA/mobile
Hi There,
I was wondering whether or not anyone out there in the UK is using MSN and Yahoo Messenger on their mobile phone or PDA devices? I would dearly love to know if any mobile or PDA like device works with instant messaging applications. Perhaps somone is using third part programs like the one available at http://www.shapeservices.com/eng/im/SP/ If so please let me know how their service works. There's also a small PDA like device being sold in the States caled the OGO which lets you connect to MSN+Yahoo Messenger as well as ICQ. Check it out at http://www.attwireless.com/cell-phon...1B1E4IAAAAAHAA Any ideas when we'll be getting it over here? Riky |

MSN on the SPV C500 works extremely well, I can say that much.

I use Agile Messenger on my nokia 3650, it will allow you to use Yahoo/Aol/MSN/ICQ simultaneously. You can even send voice messages and pictures. There are versions available for must PDA/smartphones. Best of all its free!
Some new handsets, eg Motorola v600 have a IMPS messaging client built in, but these require the use of a third party server and are difficult to set up. |
