Ecclstone also had the slithenn 3 times but they were a dud monster anyway. For Tennant, the Daleks sprung up a lot, and the ood. For Tom Baker, I was suprised at Davros, but then again, the only other reccuring villains are the Daleks and the Sontarans.

Yeah, I considered the Sontarans too, and also the Black Guardian given his involvment in the Key To Time season.

Actually yeah, both good points, particularly with regards to how coming up against them affected the Doctor's companions Tegan and Peri respectively.

I know it's odd not to have the Daleks in there but I don't picture them with any particular Doctor other than Peter Cushing. I would say that I definitely associate the 2005 fabulous bronze tanks with RTD - my favourite Dalek design cos it looks "military".

Though the Mara and Sil are very good suggestions.
It is impressive how often the Master appears in these lists, especially the number of times he appears in the same list more than once.

Silence especially their evil lackey Kovarian have been the ones to hurt the doctor the most.
They used his freinds his family against him. Think he will also allways hate the daleks. Because of them his race and planet died.
