Food you have tried once and wouldnt eat again.
Ive just posted on another thread I tried brown rice once never tried it again.
It got me thinking back to the very first time I tried a yogurt in the days when they were first coming on the market. My first one was a walnut yogurt It was vile put me off yogurts for years lol.The other thing I tried once is beetroot I couldnt eat that if my life depended on it. Anyone got any other things they tried just the once and thought...never again ?? |

Prawns. I knew I wouldn't like them before I tried them. My friend kept saying they are lovely and that I would like them. Anyway I tried and they were worse than what I imagined. Yuk. I hate sea food in general.

Piccalilli. My mum loved this but it just reminded of vomit and that didn't help when I finally tried a bit and wanted to yack up. |

The worst thing I have ever eaten was mango chutney in a lovely Indian restaurant. It was so disgusting I actually had to spit it out into a napkin, which is something I wouldn't normally dream of doing in public. |

Lobster. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't that nice either.
I tried to eat snails once but just couldn't bring myself to put one in my mouth. |

![]() ![]() ![]() When I was a kid I mistook a salmon sandwich for a ham sandwich (ya know those kinda rolled up things), picked it up, took a BIG bite and nearly puked but just had to chew it up and swallow it cos I was at someone else's house. Never again!! |

Fresh okra...........it exudes slime when you cook it
Crab meat........ok it was out of a tin so the fresh crab might be OK Another vote for 'River Cobbler'........the most horrible fish ever discovered |
