Great game but what are you going to do with the petition?
EA already cancelled a sequel to The Simpsons game last year and that sold way more than Hit & Run...
That's typical EA for you. If they ain't going to bother making any more Simpsons games then they may as well sell the rights to someone else. There is always room for a Simpsons game

Yeah, but they 'are' making Simpsons games. Just not sequels, currently. At the moment they're still milking Tapped Out.

And, again, 50k signatures won't do diddly apart from, maybe, make some ageing games dev go all warm inside for a few seconds until they realise that 50k was less than 1% of the actual sales of the game in the first place

I'm surprised they never made a sequel (considering the popularity of GTA it's surprising a bunch of franchises didn't try and do something similar).

Lego City Undercover on the Wii U looks about the closest thing we'll get to a spiritual successor to Simpsons Hit & Run -

Someone suggested maybe they'd do a sequel as part of it's 10th Anniversary (it was released in September 2003). That I'd love to see but don't know the chances.

People have also suggested that there should just be levels of progression rather than different areas, instead having the map in its entirety and complete accuracy. That would, however, possibly make it the largest open world ever (or one of).

I reckon the reason why there should be more accessible buildings is important that interiors feel more natural with you being able to explore multiple rooms in a building. In the first game it felt kinda weird how small every interior was. It made sense for things like Moe's and the Kwik-E-Mart, but some buildings just felt really weird with how closed off they were.

You're looking desperate, bumping your own thread.

ETA: Just to keep you happy I went through the entire years release schedule on GamesPress. Nothing. Nada. Zip.

I haven't played 2 or 3 recently but I reckon I'd agree with you if I did. This is gonna sound slightly ridiculous but I recently ordered Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly, which should arrive by the weekend. I just wanted to experience how bad it is for myself. But hey, I only paid £4 for it so it'd be no big loss anyway.

P.S. Despite not enjoying Spyro 1 so much nowadays, I do still have the game's music on my iPod, it's a great soundtrack IMO.
I only played Spyro 3 and I loved it. Never got the chance to play 1 and 2. It's a real shame that they rushed Enter The Dragonfly, I haven't played Spyro since, his new design looks awful.

As for Simpsons Hit And Run, I loved that game!

The game has that nostalgic value which most of the signatures are based on. I don't see the harm in at least generating interest towards a sequel.

I’d personally rather see Simpsons Road Rage HD. Loved that game. Crazy Taxi with Simpsons characters. Used to have great fun on the one-on-one first-to-15-fares mode.

Someone gets angry every time I bump this thread

I heard last year someone tried to port the game onto Android. Do you think it'd be possible for this game to be playable on iOS/Android devices?

I know people are going to have a go at me for plugging that petition, again, but it seems right - a lot of people loved the first game, what's wrong with gaining support towards a sequel?

And as an ex games dev I've explained repeatedly why your petition won't make the slightest bit of difference and you're just looking desperate. 10,000 'guaranteed' sales is not enough let alone the fact the petition has been up for almost 10 months and you've not even got 500 signatures...

ETA: I notice you've even reduced the top number of signatures from 50k to 10k... Have you still no idea what you're actually going to do with it once it's complete?
