beause at the time he was still coping with the fact Ben, his son, the one who murdered someone if you remember was being sent to prison for a very long time.

If Sharon ever becomes pregnant with Phils baby it would be nice if they called the baby Angela, Angie Mitchell has a nice ring to it.

Like MonaLisa, I'm also a big fan of Shirley but the fact is there can't be any going back for her and Phil now. To do so would completely destroy the credibility of Shirley. He covered up the truth about her BEST FRIEND'S death at the hands of his son. She just can't go back with him when she returns to the Square, but she sure as hell could cause trouble for him!!

I also like Shirley, and think she definitely needs to be moved away from Phil for good. Her character has also been damaged by her attachment to him as it is.

Also, more than anything I don't want to see Sharon with Phil as some kind of kiddy 'shipper', I just think it will make for good TV to see two characters with so much history in the show (and a lot of it involving each other) back together, even for a while (before she inevitably finds out that he lied to her re. the whole Dennis/Johhny business).

Sharon is the only woman who Phil asked to have a baby with. Give her that baby but while she is pregnant drop the Dennis bombshell and for the 2nd time Sharon faces the reality of raising a baby alone. But in time she would see Dennis was a grown man who made his own choices unlike Heather. But for a while she would be angry, Phil losing another child? Sharon raising a baby alone without a dad? Would all be good viewing.

It would make amazing viewing. But hopefully afterwards we get to see them raise their children together. We've never really seen Phil try and raise a child with a woman he loves, he usually has tackled parenthood alone. Yes he was with Stella, but that was only because he thought she would make a good mother. Sadly he was wrong, but it would be nice for him and Sharon to try parenthood together.

But Sharon has never not owned her mistakes and unlike Shirley she does not steal from single mothers, walk out on her own kids including a very ill one, try to get addicts back on their addictions (Rainie & Phil). Sorry how is Sharon worse again? If your just talking about cheating those children she walked out on, she let Kevin believe he was the father to ALL of them. Dennis did not love Zoe though. Sharon knew it. Dennis knew it. Even Zoe knew it, thats why she slept with Den to try and get Dennis baby. As for Phil and Sharon, Sharon was in an abusive relationship with Grant and she sought out her knight in shing armour. Sharons no saint, far from it. But she's a much better person that Shirley, the woman who abandoned her own children.
