A Farce
A group who were rejected asked for the reason why. They were told that decisions were made based on the boot camp performance.
I counted at least 3 people who were crap, were told that they were crap and still passed through to the next day. Farce |

Lucy Spraggen was crap in Bootcamp, that Farrah girl sung better than her but got sent home?? So it seems like anyone who has a story/was shown during the auditions will get saved even though they weren't good.

Right, basically, it's always based on the Boot Camp performance apart from when it's not. Geddit?

Seems pointless to me not to put acts through on the basis of everything they've shown so far, which accounts well enough for Lucy (who interests me more than anyone else this year) and Jahmene (who has a rare voice but may or may not have any star potential, and stank mightily in the bootcamp performance we've seen).

They are using the same rules they do for sing offs.

Tonight's was full of awfulness, tomorrow will be full of miraculous improvements.
After another stern talk from Gary no doubt. |

Not sure how they can justify either sending home 70 people from bootcamp without even hearing them perform. Isn't it possible that some of these acts could have improved since the audition?

It is an appalling way to treat anyone. A lot of them will have travelled a long way and maybe missed out on other stuff to be there. Sickening how they can go through all that and be sent home without a proper chance |

They know the characters they want for the lives before bootcamp even starts.

It's quite hilarious that we had to sit through an hour show each week to be given about two acts throughout that all magically made it to the final.
Fixed? What a jokel This show has become more about the judges than any of the acts... Total farcical and exceeding itself in the days of Cowell's then farcical show that some of us knew then how he was trying to domineer the market. Shame on those who tried to defend him then. |

I don`t see the point of the "grouping up" stage of the x factor

Perhaps it's so they can see which singers work well in a group, for when they inevitably bring back rejected soloists to make new groups in the style of One Direction, Rhythmix etc!
The whole show was fixed and emotionally centred towards those we'd already seen as favourites to get through their finals...............even if they were terrible on the day and engineered to be up against others that were as bad as they were to make it look like they just had a bad day. The whole show is fixed with whom they wanted through regardless of the charade of elimination. |

So don't you find it a tad strange that the ones that excelled and got through to the finals all happened to be amongst those that we'd never seen at all in the auditions? I.e. all pitched against perfect strangers to us the audience?

How is it fixed though, it's a entertainment show. If you actually had proof of them fixing voting figures etc then yeah, you have a point, but otherwise...
Have you noted that no voting revenue has been asked of the public up to now? So why wouldn't it be fixed up until this point to suit? Sure when it gets to voting revenue, the show would come into disrepute, but if you seriously think shows like this aren't carefully arranged to suit, in otherwords fixed, then you're the one deluded. |

you knew who was going to go through before a note was sung by the way the camera honed in on the chosen ones.

The whole boot camp section is a completely flawed idea in every way.

I think the biggest farce is Jade Richards, just watched her audition shown only on ITV extra factor and Gary said she was the main contender to win the competition and she hasn't featured on the main show at all.
