Songs you never want to hear again on the Live finals

I want to stop hearing so many 70s and 80s songs. They should sing songs from the past 5-10 years at the latest. It gets so boring having the same old classics trotted out year after year. I suppose they have to do it to appeal to older viewers, and Louis doesn't seem to know any songs released past 1995 that weren't by Westlife.

Excellent choices! To the list I would add:

Proud Mary
I Don't Want to Miss a Thing (If I could ban only one, this would be it.)
I Believe I Can Fly
Relight My Fire
Baby One More Time
What a Wonderful World
I Want You Back
Billie Jean
Man in the Mirror
Hero - Mariah Carey
With or Without You
Lady Marmalade
Crazy - Gnarls Barkley
You Got the Love
Livin' on a Prayer
Umbrella
One - U2
Every Breath You Take
Imagine
Bridge Over Troubled Water
Everybody Hurts

I agree with all of you though, maybe if they just dont' sing any song that would be favourable.

I hate that song and I have to change the channel if it's being sung on The X Factor...after swearing at the TV when it starts!

Bryan Adams was only 10 in 1969, so it's not like he was reminiscing about the year either.

You're taking the song title too literally,
