Looks like Carolynne and Christopher battling for 1 place

I think we can safely assume Melanie Masson and Kye Sones are going through

Who gets it?

I would prefer Carolynne but think it will be the one tone Scouser

I think Carolynne has more of a chance than Melanie, personally. Shame really since I find Carolynne completely cold and bland, which is odd since she I really liked her last year. The more prominent edit has done her no favours imo.

I agree I was carolynne to go through but I fear chris will...

he will be this years jonjo kerr but admittedly slightly better vocals...

I think and hope Carolynne will get a place, she looks like a star and she has a beautiful voice.

If Gary has any sense he'll put Carolynne, Melanie and Kye Sones through. Yeah Christopher can sing but can you actually see him having any sort of a career? Reminds me of a male Jane McDonald

Based on some of the things Gary has been saying about Carolynne, there's absolutely no chance he's not putting her through

I've not seen any of this years show yet as I normally wait for JH befoer I start watching but I do ermember Carolynne from last year and from Fame Academy and as I said to her on her twitter feed tyhat Louis commited a crime picking the ilkes of Kitty and Jonny over her last year as I think he'd have had a chance of doing well by bringing her through and encouraged her to try again as I thought with a different judge mentoring the category she'd almost certainly at least make the live shows you don't make it to a final of a singing competition like Fame Academy without being a half decent singer.
Carolynne is definetely that tbh I thought she'd be doing battle with Hayley for that sopt given they aer pretty similar singers but seeing as Hayley has gone it's probably cleaerd the path for her. I do feel sorry for Hayley gbut she can always try again just as Carolynne has.

Carolynne's voice does nothing for me, never has done. I think she's a beautiful girl though, but her voice sounds too generic.

I think Carolynne is a given, she has been the most heavily featured over 28 this year.

I think Melanie will get through too, not sure about the third person

I liked her voice on Fame Academy but to me her voice now is very hard, gutteral and affected with too much forced sounding country "twang"

I prefer Melanie out of the overs

I have distant memories of liking her, but her performances this year have left me cold. She has very bland taste in music, and with Barlow picking songs for her that's unlikely to improve any time soon.

TBH, even on Fame Academy I found her voice a bit ordinary. I think she's done well to get to judges houses, but Gary seems to have a soft spot for her so she may well get through. His judgement is not all that great really, thinking about Frankie Coccoza last year.

Carolynne and Melanie are the two obvious ones i feel.

I will be fuming if Christopher gets selected over Melanie, Carolynne or Kye. I think it will be Carolynne that goes if he is picked. Cue footage of Carolynne crying, saying she won't bother trying again.

he may pick chris, because of his `emotional` rendition of gary`s `classic`, `a million love songs`. i hope he picks carolynne though, she is a better singer of the two.

Good call OP.

For me, Kye and Melanie are shoe-ins. The PR consultant with the Harley should not have got this far and I cannot even remember the sixth contestant.

Which leave CP vs CM. I think Poole is just awful! She cannot sing. Nasal, dreary, country-tanged voice that sets my teeth on edge amd isn't appropriate if you ain't "Southern". Maloney has a great voice, but possibly better suited to musical-theatre. I hope it's him.
