Name a weaker series.

I dont think there has been one as bad as this year and yes I have watched them all.

series 1 and series 2

I actually think this is the strongest final 24, because there are stronge people from each category. Usually its one or two groups, that have an obsene about of good acts, but tghey all do this time!!!

let's hope there's plenty of room for improvement!

can't see it happening with contestants like lucy, rylan and poisoness though...

Series 2 was great. Andy, Maria, Shane and Journey South. When has there been another year when there were four potential winners?

It's strange, the two categories who are usually seen as the weakest are now the strongest they've ever been- The Overs and the groups.

However, the boys and the girls are very weak and not very...captivating. I think that's why people aren't taking to this series because arguably the latter categories are the ones people tend to take most interest in, and this year there's not much going on.

Same thing gets said every year. Lets wait untill were down to final 12 and theyeve had a few weeks performing

This is pretty bad....so was series 4, though..

Don't see what is so bad about this year. Yeah the format is dire but the acts are fine in my opinion. Just hoping for the right 12 to be picked for the live finals. People just love to complain on this forum.

You lot are just negative negative The overs are probaly the best they have ever had The girls Really good .The boys are OK one are two and the groups are poor but the always are i would series 4 6 2 1 were much worser.

Series 4 was pretty horrendous, but yeah, this one is definitely down there.

think its the weakest with the talent they had at their disposal... not saying its the weakest ever.. rylan would definatly get the vote for the weakest singer and i use singer in the loosest sense.. ever to make a final line up.. infact dont think we would need to vote.. he will be the weakest...

It's a funny old mix. The boys have hit an alltime low, but conversly, the Overs are probably the best they've been in quite a long time. The girls are generally alright, though they do have a McCabe shaped hole.. The groups.. tragic as ever.

I think it's a good year, I've seen worse years.

without melanie mccabe girls is weakened, she and ella would have blasted thru to final
