Exactly. It was precisely because of that conversation that I didn't think they would go there with the sexual abuse by his father. I suppose they either forgot about that or hoped that we would have forgotten.

That's my worry. I have this image of Ste not being alone with Brendan for a second.
i'm looking forward to tonights E4 for the aftermath but i'm worried that they'll spoil it a bit by having Doug go with Ste to the hospital or have Doug complain about Ste going.
I don't see why Doug would goto the hospital (unless he's being paranoid about Ste being near Brendan) mainly i just want to see how Ste really feels without Doug there telling him how he feels, if that makes sense.

Wow, I sort of envy you for having all of Later to watch for the first time! It's amazing for the most part, although emotionally draining by the end. Enjoy!

I think I may need to have a stress ball at the ready. Every time Doug's face appears on my screen and gets in the way, I'll be pounding it to a pulp with a mallet.
Please remember Hollyoaks, this story is about Ste remembering he has feelings for Brendan, and them working them through. Not about bloody Doug. :sleep:

Definitely. I think Brendan won't be awake for the episode anyway, so it really should be all about how Ste and Cheryl feel.

He is but it doesn't necessarily mean he's in the episode - as the cast list is for the whole week.

Ooo, that's interesting Ready. I was puzzled about who that could be. Wonder what's cracking off, for Doug to be blamed? I mean he hasn't really done anything wrong other than cheating people out of money and hanging round getting in the way.

I really have no idea. I can't think what Doug could do...But if this is true, I kind of like it. Just in the sense that it'll create an even bigger rift for Stug. I wasn't expecting it at all though!

No, total surprise. And I'd way rather Ste was rowing with Doug than pointing the finger at Brendan yet again. I think I've had my fill of Ste blaming Brendan for everything that's wrong in his life. Plus, I'm feeling mega-protective of Brendan at the moment. If anyone gets at him, I'm gon' have to kill them.

Exactly - I was worried that he'd blame Brendan, even though that wouldn't really be unexpected.
And I know what you mean. Despite the bad things Brendan's done, he seems more vulnerable to me than ever. I just want him to be happy at last.

eta: I don't mind what it is really, as long as I don't have to spend the next three weeks watching Ste and Doug plan sugarered almond favours, white doves, and what to have their first dance to. I'm feeling fragile enough as it is and I don't want to have to shoot my TV.
