Is it open season on Brendan/Stendan fans at the moment?

Everyone and their dog seem to have an opinion on us, how horrible we are, pathetic, deluded etc

Maybe we should stop holding the producers of HOs at gunpoint and forcing them to give in to our every whim, because that's what we must be doing to attract so much vitriol.

How about if you don't like us, don't like Brendan or Ste or Brendan and Ste together, or you are a big Stug fan you stay the hell off our thread and I don't know just ignore us, start your own thread, do something that doesn't involve having anything to do with us.

I understand that it must be difficult for people to ignore some posts on the internet that they don't agree with but hey give it a go, it will set you free.

I think Ste does love Doug but he is IN LOVE with Brendan. He's denying it right now. I think he wants to believe he can have a future with Doug but as long as Brendan is here his heart lies with him and vice versa.

Where are you seeing this stuff, ally? On Twitter or Tumblr? Elsewhere on DS? I rarely ever see anything like that, but then I tend to stay in here where it's safe.

I think it is because they can see the writing on the wall and think that Stendan fans have 'forced' the producers to go in that direction with threats that they won't watch if they don't.

Stendan became what Emmett called a 'force of its own' soon after they got together. It is the most intriguing and fascinating partnership of the show bar none. It would be monumentally stupid for producers not to be going in the direction they are and that is just common sense!

Seeing as Doug and Ste have no money for their wedding, and they've already played the 'con your gran' card, perhaps Doug will agree to give Walker information in return for some cash?

And, like the time he took 80k from Brendan, of course he will just whine that he only did it because he loves Ste so much and wanted to pay for their perfect wedding

And Ste will apologise and forgive him.

I rarely venture from here, but I have gone on to a few other things. Has been a mix of things I've seen, but yes, some of it really not very nice.

Maybe he's tired and dishevelled because he's been having a sex marathon with Ste.

I don't think DS in general is too bad. Yes, there is the occasional poster who bashes Brendan and/or Stendan fans, but I guess it's to be expected. I don't think it's disproportionate.

I don't know about Tumblr, I don't look on there very often nowadays as the 'Brendan is Evil!!!' mob were doing my head in.

Not again, this is beyond ridiculous. If HO were pandering to Stendan fans they would of put them back together before now. It's not our fault that HO have finally realised that Stendan is where the story is at. we've known it forever but that's beside the point. If Stendan was just meant to be about the DV, Brendan wouldn't still be there, HO made it about more than that a long time ago, not the fans. And if people are complaining about this thread then they are pathetic. This is a place where people talk openly about what they like and don't, what they would like to see happen and what they wouldn't. If people take anything that's said in here out of context then it's there problem not ours. They need to get a grip.

Could be, I guess. It's hard to tell how all this is going to play out, Walker, Dec, Ste, Pa, funeral, and massive undisclosed Nov event. The poor guy gets no rest. Good for us, bad for him.

I really would love him just to get a bit of peace. Couple of honeymoon weeks with Ste before it all goes to sh*t again.

I love how Emmett's efforts to keep the speculation about Brendan's survival going were only ever half-hearted at best, and now he's given up entirely.

In my head he's tired and dishevelled cos of Stendan too!

But far more likely to be due to a breakdown of sorts!

What were the best Brendan scenes in the Laters do you reckon? Besides the final episode?

The dancing.

I liked the scene with Nana where she touched his nose. And the beach scene with Brendan and Cheryl where she jumped on his back.

Also for the other stuff, the Bralker stuff was so well acted and Brendan and Cheryls reactions after she caught him.

The Nana scene when she said she knows he's the other way.

The Cheryl scene, in spite of her peeing.

The scene when he went to talk Joel out of the bathroom. The whole of it, with Theresa and then with Joel.

The car chase, and the story his face told after Chez got rid of the policeman.

All of it. He's incredible.
