He's a dead ringer for Barry Pepper from Saving Private Ryan

Please do not insult Mr. pepper in that way. In that pic he looks jollier than James Arthur ever will and he is the midst of battle.
James Arthur the miserable sod. |

Indeed. He's a "bad boy" you don't have to be frightened of, self-destructive and in need of caring. It could well work on older women too. |

anyone find it ironic that his childhood was supposidly so bad.. then on xtra factor they asked him a question about his family holiday as a kid?
he will do well... but does strike me as the type of contestant that has slagged xfactor off.. singer song writer on his guitar.. i think he is talented on what we have seen.. needs a good bath though...

This year, however, there are several contestants through to Judges Houses that are actually interesting. Some because they can sing really well, others because they have at least the appearance of depth. Of course, I'm expecting the anodyne ones to get through to Live - the Jades, Car-O-Lynne, Nathan, The GHD3 - but for now I can be hopeful. |

He is so vehement, along with a woeful personality to match.
