You kind of wonder how too many of these acts have the "x-factor" although its debatable what this means to viewers.

I know there never been a connection between voting a win and what may happen after the show

Do you mean are there lots of acts with no obvious appeal to the pre-teen schoolgirl market? Yes, thank Odin. That doesn't mean that Louis can't manage to screw things up and put GHD3 and Poison Chalice through though. "You know, for the kids"

That may be a problem for the young market as the rumoured boys are not lookers and they do need the young vote.

Louis will be looking for Boys to Men type acts and have them singing Westlife etc I'm sure

The Girls have a couple; but Lucy Spraggen I dont think wouyld benefit from Syco management.

The boys.... I dont think there's much there tbh

The Groups - Tripple J looked to be the most teenage marketable... also MK1 too could be

The Overs - unsure to be honest - all of them are fantastic singers though (barring the annoying wreck on the end)

Of course he will - it is a shame, but, and for the life of me I don't understand why, people do actually like Westlife/E17/Take That...

It should be Duke, MK1 and MITSOTU through to lives, but then I would think that, I'm an adult. I will happily go and see any of these bands if they turn up on the circuit.

Louis will put all his boy bands in suits and have them sing Westlife's greatest hits every week.

Honestly think only MK1 are the obviously commercial act.

Thing with the girls with just nice voices (and sometimes guys) is its almost impossible to call because it largely depends on the song they release. I suppose Jade (young mother) is the most commercial act image wise, but the charts are already drowning in similar acts. With Rita Ora being the latest one.

He didn't really do that with JLS... or Jedward... or G4... or Eton Road... or the MacDonald Brothers
