Eddy String should have gone through
Jahmene has no confidence.
Rylan is awful and thinks Ibiza is a genre Jake & Adam are meh, they're decent James Arthur overdoes every note Nathan is a pro, yet he's not the better one (what does that say) Eddy String had confidence, and he knew what his image was. He was full of energy and is better than half of the remaining contestants. |

I liked Eddie String too, certainly more than Rylan, if it was a contest between personalities and non singers. Eddie wasn't a terrible vocalist either. Maybe they thought he'd do a Fankie Coccoza and didn't want to risk it?

I think I agree with everything you say there. I'd guess that (for some reason) the decision was already made to take Rylan to the lives, and having Rylan and Eddy as two of the three boys would have biased the section too glaringly in favour of confident entertainers lacking in vocal attributes. All that you say of Eddy is true, but he didn't seem to have much of a voice.

I know this is just trolling, but I still have to respond.
String is a poor singer and his image entirely derived from that of other, equally poor, singers; look at String and you see The Stones, The Stooges, The Ramones. For somebody so image obsessed to be so derivative is a terrible failure; Jagger may have been rubbish, but he was original rubbish. Apart from covering all those old blues songs. At least the little fat boy String went drinking with had a hint of originality about his look; even if, ultimately, it did not work. |

Ugly as sin and not a note in his head.
Seemed perfect for the X Factor right enough. |
