Sorry but I almost wet myself - that was hysterical.

Ridiculous excuse!

Does having boobs and a fanny make you incapable of leading? Or having a penis make it impossible to be lead.

They would just decide who was going to lead and could if they wanted to, change it halfway through.

Nothing you have posted means that you have to have a man and a woman or it doesn't work, like you are trying to make out.

Well at least you are brave enough to post that when others are hiding behind any excuse they can invent.

I just hope your child doesn't grow up gay with a disgraceful homophobe of a parent like you.

Oh, by all means, do share your vast experience of partner dancing with us.

Incapable, no. More difficult, yes.

(Fanny no. Boobs yes. Like other physical attributes - size, weight, body distribution, shape, and so on - boobs can literally get in the way in some dance forms.)

One obvious example is that women are shorter (on average) than men - and in the same way that it's difficult for a short man to lead a tall woman, the height makes it more difficult. On average.

The penis is irrelevant. The size and shape differences I mentioned above apply to male followers.

Jesus Christ, you really have no idea how this stuff works, do you?

Let me be 100% clear.

1/ I've no problems with any combinations of dancers in a social environment.
2/ I've danced as a follower myself with both men and women.
3/ I've seen some superb SS dancing on occasion.

But, I don't think it'll work for Strictly. Neither do I think SS dancing is in some way a blow for gay rights.

So, anyone want me to put it into smaller words for them to understand that?

Dancing is about men being masculine and women being feminine as a couple.
If you have a couple of the same sex, then you upset the balance.

Two males dancing both being butch or girly.
Two males dancing one girly and one butch.
Two women dancing both being butch or girly.
Two women dancing one girly and one butch.

Lets not forget how stupid Erin looked dressed as a man with a muppet.

No that's just your idea of a traditional set up due to the fact that gay people has been suppressed over 100s of years. If more of it was on TV and out in the open, you wouldn't have those set ideas of stereotypical and outdated roles for men and women.

By the same token should women keep themselves in the kitchen and serve their masters the men as that is Traditional!

Where would this thread be without people using stereotypes to spread their nonsense.

All Man are big and strong and large.
All Women are weak and small and graceful.

All aboard the time machine back to the 18XXs.

Some men have Moobs as well and there are some big women and small men. Welcome to the real world!

Why are you so massively confused over the differences between gender and sexuality?

Sounds good, I'm starving.

And yes, I'm not taking your comments seriously any more.

Yes, indeed. Well done on that.

Are you genuinely unaware of the phyiscal differences?

Or are you simply unaware of what the word "average" means?

Or are you just genuinely unaware?

Its called biology, big bad society didn't give men wands and women cauldrons.

What an over rated conversation
The show is aimed at the majority not the minority
The majority see romance and story telling to music being straight between man and woman
No problems with minority rights but would the beeb put together a show for that minority
The majority of women dream of being swept of their feet (to music) by a man
The majority of men see themselves doing the the sweeping

All above is without bias but an attempt to use basic commercial logic

You are right to an extent in that it is fantasy, but the show is mainly aimed at women and that is the commercial logic.
The majority of men watching probably don't sweep women irl.

Xfactor and shows like this are predominantly made by gay men for women, to them gay men are nothing more than performing eunuchs playing a role of straight men. Stuck in a timewrp.

It's quite sad that lesbians and gay fans are ignored, or even straight folks who like a bit of variety.

Im a gay man, and have never personally even given a thought to there being same sex couples in the show.

That being said, I really wouldnt mind it, but only if it was required. Meaning, dont force two blokes to dance with each other or two women to (even if they are gay) when they dont want to. But if it fitted the situation then fine, go with it.

I would LOVE to get up close and personal with pasha, but really, Id be pretty happy dancing with female too. Lol.
