I felt so sorry for Karina & Apolo was really supportive.

Kelly & Val were brilliant.

Shawn is very good & likeable.

Emmit who? I just don't notice him & Cheryl.

Bristol or Kirstie out tonight please

Gilles is a decent enough dancer, but I hate it when someone is so overrated. I just don't think he's as brilliant as the judges make out. To be fair, Shawn had quite an advantage when she started in season 8. I don't think Gilles had ever danced before.

I forgot about Emmitt...says it all really. He's just so blah. Cheryl didn't choreograph a good dance for them and he didn't perform it particularly well. I wouldn't be sad to see them leave.

TBH I have lost interest in this season. I am just supporting Bristol and Kelly hope both are safe this week. I found Giles dance slightly uncomfortable. Apolo should be in the btm 2 this week and should be scored lower than Bristol. Imagine if Bristol messed up her steps there would be hell to pay. Even though she is a proffesional she messed up the dance.

Kirsties dance was horrific I expect them to be eliminated this week. If not her then maybe Emmit or Melissa.

Bristol did well this week and its sad to see peeps begging for her to be eliminated when Kirstie was clearly the worst dancer this week.

I think it's her puppy dog eyes that are warping your judgement!

She had an easier genre than many and very basic steps and choreography. There wasn't much there for her to foul up (she did okay by her own standards, but she wasn't facing the same challenge as the others). Karina messed up, but Apolo didn't (and you have to give him credit for keeping a cool head) and there is no way on the planet Bristol is a better dancer than Apolo . I don't really care if she gets another week, but if she does, it had better be Kirstie, Emmit or Melissa instead.

Agreed. For me Kirstie is the one to go next then probs as it is Week 5 maybe Bristols time is up.

My prediction is Apolo Vs Kirstie btm 2 with Kirstie going hopefully. If Apolo goes like Chynna Philips then its a disgrace.

Oh, no!. Well, she danced brilliantly. I can't imagine how she could face a jive with a broken toe (they haven't jived yet have they?)

(No double entendre intended )

Kirstie is 62 years old and was still better than Bristol. Kirstie took risks in her dance unlike Bristol.

I shall be so p****d off if the final three includes Bristol and Emmit (Shawn is a shoo in, surely ) Of the good dancers, I wouldn't be too upset if Melissa leaves, but, hell's teeth, if Bristol and Kirstie stay at the expense of Sabrina, Apolo or even Gilles it will be farce.

(Disco is stupid!)”

Yes, it is depressing, but that's the way the almond laced cookie crumbles on DWTS.
Emmitt is one the best American football players of all time and he has a huge fanbase. He can make it to the final.
Brace yourself for BP in the final. She won't win, but she'll make final three.

And yes disco is stupid.

Another exciting week! Full marks to Gilles for me, I think he is comfortably the best male ive seen on DTWS/SCD. Can do both latin and ballroom equally well (unusual for the men) but also always finds the character of the dance. Maybe the best celebrity ever who has had no dancing experience.

I'm a little worried for Melissa. Dull as dish water Tony does her no favours with his boring routines and non stop tricks. She's maybe the most graceful and light on her feet of all the celebs. He should step back and allow her to shine.

I thought Karinas negative attitude to her dance perhaps contributed to the problems. She should have embraced it like the other pros asked to do unusual dances.

Emmitt was once again dull and average, despite some generous scores. I hope he goes this week. But Kelly and Val were a little..odd. Maybe they will depart.

In the bottom 2

Kirstie/Maks and Bristol/Mark.

Leaving tonight are:

Bristol/Mark.

I often find myself wondering what Melissa would have been like with a pro like Matt Cutler or Ian Waite. I think she would have been well suited to their teaching style and choreo and sparkled.

Now that was unexpected. It pains me to say that I would have rather seen Kirtie & Maks go this week with BP going the next. But at he same time I'm glad my prediciton didn't come true. Yeah.

I am posting this very funny blog from Annie Barrett. She explains what is going down next week better than I could. A group freestyle and no elimination. You figure it all out.

Wow! Surprised. Pleased

Thanks for posting, Lili.

I agree about Melissa - she probably could do so much better with better choreography.

Thanks!

I still don't understand next week . No results show? When do they give the boot?

I hope someone posts the results show in full - would love to see Tris and Kym's dance (but slightly traumatised at the idea of Donny O duetting with SuBo )

(Reluctantly, despite trying really hard to remain ignorant, for quite a long time, I am going to have to google Gangnam. *sigh*)

Finally the right result.

Just watched the full ep and Giles and Peta's reaction to their song choice for the team dance next week was brilliant.

Here's the dances from last night.

Opening Number
Macy’s Stars of Dance
Cheryl Burke Routine With Tito Puente, Jr.
Donnie Osmond & Susan Boyle “This Is The Moment”

The full show is out there on the usual sites...

Thank you for these.

I found somewhere to watch the full show last week, but it's been taken down - would you mind pm-ing me a link? Thank you

Think Kirstie should have gone but Bristol was on borrowed time each week.

I think it was the Apolo sympathy votes that got her eliminated.

Looking forward to next week. Hope we get rid of Kirstie and Emmit soon.

I am happy Bristol is gone, especially after she threw Mark under the bus.
Emmett and Kirstie need to go next, then the rest can battle it out.

Bristol's choreography was very simple. She should at least have tried to do Mark's other moves. It was a better dance than Kirstie's, but Kirstie is 40 years older! I'm glad Bristol left this week, as there's going to be no elimination next week and she might have ended up in the final 3.

I agree that Emmitt and Kirstie need to leave next. I think Gilles is going to come second or third, but Shawn will probably win.

I'm relieved Apolo & Karina were saved.

Glad Bristol has gone & hope Kirstie goes next.

It's sad to hear that Anna and Jonathan Roberts are getting divorce. I though they were a cute couple.
