If next week if a double elimination, will week 9 be a double elimination as well? Or will 4 couples go through to the final this time?

We knew Val was shooting a role on GH because we found out yesterday on twitter.

I think Kelly has done some really good dances, although she seems to have gone a little off the boil the last couple of dances. She said she has 3 weeks off, so perhaps she can devote more time to training now.

I think I would like to see Apolo, Shawn and probably Kelly in the final, but it maybe Melissa and Gilles in the mix. Who knows with the double elimination next week we may see another spanner in the works Emitt is popular too isn't he, so it could be anyone up there at the end.

Oh, Lady Latina, I wish I could unknow your gossip (or the bit about Kelly, anyway ). I'm going to pretend that she's just a bit earthy and people are misunderstanding her humour. There. She's back to being my favourite again

My ideal final would be Kelly, Shawn and Apolo. Unfortunately, I think it will be Gilles, Emmit and Shawn, although I think Shawn will win, which would be some compensation. I really like Melissa, and think some of her dancing is beautiful, but with Tony's choreo, she's a bit of an 'also ran'.

Don't worried, you like her dancing and that what's matter. My friend is a very fair person, so when she made a judgment she tried to be fair. She is a dancer and she never said things against any of the dancers she looks at the positives. She got the impression of Kelly because she wasn't expected her to have the attitude she had with another contestants and. using vulgar words. My friends grow up in an old fashion environment, very lady like. So maybe for her point of view she didn't like what she saw.
She was invited to the program by Louis Van Amstern who she knows long time ago.
She knows the gossips because dancers tends to spill the beans. And she knows a lot about what happens behind the scene that she wouldn't tell anyone.
She said she said the show in general is good, but she disagree about the production team trying to deceive the public, unnecessary dramas and romances that doesn't really existed just for the sake of the ratings.
I was trying to explained to her that the show need that kind of dynamic in order to survive.
But like I said she is very old fashion and with high moral standards.
But like you said maybe she misunderstood Kelly's reactions.
The final two will be Shawn and Gilles, and the other two will be Melissa and Kelly or Emmett.
Sadly I think Apollo will be eliminated nest week with Kristie.

I'm sure Kelly does have a "potty mouth" but that doesn't make her a bad person. I would complain about some of the scores too!

I quite enjoy a bit of 'choice' language, so that doesn't bother me - and it certainly doesn't make her a bad person. I suspect she'd be good company on a night out .


Oh, poor Brooke . So difficult to have to go through something like that in public on top of all the normal worry. I hope she gets well.

Re: the threesomes, just my own personal impressions.

Melissa's paso - she achieves such beautiful shapes and looks so strong, despite being so thin and delicate-looking.

Kelly's jive - does Val always have to be shirtless? Is is in his contract? Then off comes Louis' shirt and we're wondering if these are distraction techniques...

Kirstie's paso. Oh dear, she's dressed like the mad cat lady from the SImpsons and dances much the same. Tristan and Maks look just fabulous FULLY CLOTHED

Shawn's samba. This looks like a Disney World dinner show, with virtually no actual samba. Yet again we have shirtless boys, and Derek wins the pecs competition.

Gilles' salsa. He dances as if he should be alone on a podium, Chippendale-style.

Emmitt''s salsa. I know Emmitt divides opinion but I liked this. His moves are great and I, personally, always think he looks like a bloke you'd like to dance with (unlike Gilles the show-pony)

Apolo's jive. Brave - the only celeb to dance with a same-sex pro, thereby putting himself up for comparison. He's a great dancer but 'Greased Lightening' was a poor choice - it's been done to death.

Shawn's trio was more Simba than a Samba, expected the cast of Lion King to appear. What's the obsession with flat shoes, bare feet and bare chests, it's been done to death. I'm getting bored of it, from all of them - well if Tristian went bare chested I may change my tune. Hardly saw any Samba in the routine. Her VW was lovely but seems the way of things not enough in hold.

Apolo's trio, he kept up quite well with Sasha, think towards the end he ran out of steam a little and his kicks and flicks lost their sharpness. Not keen of the Grease Lighting selection or Karina's outfit. Know she has a bad neck and knee so perhaps that's why she wore flatties too. Thought the Tango wasn't as sharp as it could be and the footwork not as good as it could be, but I did enjoy the routine. Lol Apolo reckons if he stays in next week, he is getting his ice rink built!!!

Gilles looked a bit oily in the threesome, me me me again. Shirley Ballas, said, in his rhumba he was selfish and self absorbed so no change there then. Think he is living his fantasy again this time with 2 blonde. His and Emitt's routine looked similar in parts. The QS he kept up with Peta, but he lacks finesse with his footwork and posture, feel like he learns the routines, but doesn't polish them.

Kirstie as an angel, think they took inspiration from Katherine Jenkins', live show, performing Evanescence, Bring Me To Life, where she morphed into butterfly wings and had all the dancers in black feathers looked familiar. Kirstie struggled to keep up with Maks and Tristan, lucky woman. Kept my eyes on Tristan so I didn't mind this routine.

Kelly's Jive okish not her best dance, but thought she did well in VW, a lot better. Amazed CA didn't comment about Kelly's feet coming off the ground, still with all the smoke probably couldn't see.

Emitt's Salsa, he throws himself into it, a bit Dad dancing in parts, squirms, but preferred it to Gille's routine. His footwork and VW had improved a little and his posture was a bit better than past dances, but still not as good as it should be at this stage of the competition.

Melissa's a really good dancer, she outdanced Tony at the start of their QS think he lost it slightly. She did a good job with the Paso, not keen on her 'hu hu hu' bit, but thought her threesome did a good routine. For all that, I am not engaged with her dancing and I don't know why.
