Derek just tweeted a "Group shot semi final"

Was Val in the right? Are he and Kelly under marked and and criticized too harshly?

I'd like an Apolo, Shawn & Melissa final.

I don't know. I do think the "offbeat" dances were a total mess. None of them were good. Was it a chance for the judges to have free rein over the scores?

Shawn is easily the best dancer left. Melissa is hit or miss for me, and I think she has been overscored and overpraised recently. Emmitt is the weakest dancer left IMO. Kelly is one of the weakest, but I like her more than Melissa. Apollo doesn't excite me at all.

I think Shawn (and Derek of course) have got this in the bag. Predictable and boring.

I'm getting the feeling that the whole thing, or at least substantial parts of it, are rigged. Same with Strictly. That kind of spoils it for me.

After reading that Val had got upset at the scoring etc, I doubt this was the case. Derek could have easily tweeted with any other text, but he tweeted "Group shot semi final", and didn't reply anything even though he was asked multiple times why Val and Kelly were not in the picture.

I might get shouted for this, but Derek isn't stupid, and he knows his own fanbase. He has picked his own faves at this point.

In agreement with you on Apolo and Shawn but would probably swap Melissa for Kelly.

I don't know what goes on behind the scenes only what I hear, but don't think everyone are best friends; despite what they say to camera. Think they have their own little cliques, Val said he doesn't bother with anyone apart from Maks and Kelly and I think he is friends with Tony. Think Derek and Mark are brothers so have their clique too.

Don't think the scores are fair generally, too generous or too low dependent on the judges whims or fancy. Val and Kelly's surfer flamenco wasn't their best dance so could understand the scores.

Think there is a lot of tinkering behind the scenes to get who they want to the finals, and can understand rumblings from Val if he sees things are unfair, Maks has been vocal too. I think with these type of shows we would be naive to think it was a level playing field and everyone gets treated the same and there are no machinations going on.

Hope Melissa, Kelly and Apolo make the final.

Really don't want a Shawn Johnson win cause I feel she does not deserve it. Her and Derek have broken numerous rules and gotten away with high marks.

I can see this, and I completely agree. I do however think there is a big difference in Maks tweeting his support for Val, or airing his thoughts about Val/Kelly's low marks, if they were too low vs. Derek tweeting a picture OPPOSING Val/Kelly. IMO that picture was quite blatantly obvious, and it was "a vote against" one other couple, not in support of someone in midst of many couples. I think it is really unfair and unsportsmanlike.

It must be stressful for a celebrity to be caught in the cross fire of feuding pros. A celebrity can only do the choreography they are given.

It's a tense and competative semi-final for sure. Good for ratings though. I hope Maks was able to garner votes by taking to twitter for Kelly if the fans feel she was underscored.

I think Maks twitter campaign worked.

I'm so glad Kelly is in the final! I would love her to win, but I think she'll come third. Shawn is the best dancer, but they have broken the rules numerous times and Derek's arrogance is not remotely appealing. Shawn is lovely though.

Emmitt was overscored the whole way along. A perfect score? Give me a break.

Did you miss the results show footage showing Kelly and Val clapping (and quite enthusiastically, for Val) after Shawn and Derek's Knight Rider Bangra, and Derek making a megaphone with his hands and shouting "Go Kelly!!!!" after Kelly and Val's rumba? Of course they all get along beautifully!

There was also a recent shot of Maks lifting Shawn off her feet in a hug, and Kirstie and Shawn have quite a mutual adoration society going on at the moment. Check their tweets!

Would have preferred Apollo instead of Kelly, just simply due to ability, but glad that Emmit has gone.

I think I'm still bitter at Kelly's controversial first season victory, that I watched back in the day.

When Brooke was announcing Apollo's exit she did say thaty had finished bottom of the leaderboard, this meant that Emmit and Kelly were recieving more votes than him so I suppose I should be grateful that Kelly was getting more than Emmit, they were undermarked the previous night anyway.

Tony doesn't have a great track record with the freestyle. I just hope they don't go too trick-tastic - Melissa's strength is her beautiful lines.
