Whilst I do agree with you (always getting a good partner particularly rankles), there's a degree of chicken and egg at play. I believe he's a good teacher (though, he's never had a total dud, so it's hard to be sure); I don't
always love his style of dancing (just a matter of taste, really), but I do think he's a spectacular choreographer and incredibly creative. If I were running the show, I wouldn't want to waste that. I'd probably give him good partners, too

If the audience want to give him their votes regardless, then so be it. Where I think he's given too much of a pass is with the judges scores. They waxed lyrical about that QS (and rightly), whilst acknowledging they had to deduct marks, then barely punished them
