Finally caught up with this last night and thought it was pants. Hated the rivalry and hated the way the British girls were set up to fail - first in the catwalk thing (ooo surprise, the American audience gave the biggest cheers to, yep you've guessed it, the Americans!) and then in the stupid photoshoot. Elton John? John Lennon? Even the one decent person - Princess Di - was given a ridiculous and unflattering dress. And then to put them on trampolines? Rubbish and agree, I disliked every single one of the photos.

And while I am on my rant.... John Lennon wouldn't have posed like that? John Lennon wouldn't have been bouncing up and down on a trampoline in the first place. Grrr.

So massive dislike so far. And I even disliked the lipstick!

But will I stop watching? No way!!

Preferred tonight's episode but still think the USA v UK thing is being pushed too far. Not necassarily through the challenge but I feel some of the pieces to camera by UK girls had been edited for a USA audience. I don't know most of the UK girls coz have only recently started watching BINTM (so only know Madeleine I think she's called) but feel like they don't really stand a chance. The was blonde now pink girl (think she's UK's plus size?) is absolutely stunning but I did think they were setting her up to go this episode.

Other than that... the androgynous (sp?) American I think will go a long way. Not because I like her but because I think the judges will like her.

Altogether I do think tonight's was better than last week but do still hope all the rivalry stuff is dropped soon by mixing up teams or just dropping teams altogether,

Awful again this week. The photoshoot was nearly as ludicrous as last week, just completely stupid.

The British girls seem to be filmed being constantly bitchy. This must be set up for the cameras as I don't remember any of them being that bad before. Why do they want to portray them like that? I would rather see some friendship.

How did that girl that looks like a sack of potatoes survive at the end? I don't think the girl that went had anywhere near the worst photo and the one that they saved looks nothing like a model to me.

As for the girl with the shaved head that looks like a bloke, I don't get it. Her photo was terrible too.

Bit in bold so came into the competition with a shaved head. I ron't know what else could of been done.

Without spending an hour typing away. I'm just going to say if they say extreme, crazy makeovers I was expecting all of them to have something a bit weird, not only half of them. They also better not say in future how bad the colours look like in BINTM.

The photos weren't great, I mean the photo quality not the models.

Don't like the new judge, she's to stern and makes the judging seem really cold.

I didn't agree with the call out order and the wrong person went home, I think.

But why do they like her? I see no beauty there at all. They might as well get a guy in and her photo was worse than the girl they sent home.

There is no stand out winner in this cycle so far anyway.

A model isn't always about beauty. And people see beauty in a different way. Her photo wasn't brilliant put i still think Simone? should of gone home.

I dont want to give up watching as I live in hope it will improve but honestly what was all that crap with eating the different foods!!! Is this next top model or a laymans I'm a celebrity get me out of here" task? and don't get me started on the make overs (whats with Tara giving things stupid names -shake over!!!) As someone said earlier only 1/4 of them had a dramatic make over the rest were very boring - not only not dramatic but not even an improvement. As Sophie(?) said 3 of the girls had the same style. It seems ANTM has jumped the shark

I know! They can't even seem to get the story together. Was the eating thing a competition? Surely it must have been, otherwise they wouldn't have bothered? What was the prize then? It seemed to lead nowhere.

I think they're trying to make it in to a realityesque show and it never focuses on modelling anymore. Photo shoot was awful (be a toddler, but a model, not too sexy, look innocent, look jealous, etc). What was the point of Kris Jenner and her daughters

They never zoom in on all the photos so I'm always left squinting at the TV trying to work out what they actually look like in the pictures.

It just seems like a novelty series now, I'm not really enjoying it. I'm hoping for a better shoot next week - something less gimmicky, maybe just a simple beauty shot would be good.

BIB 1: ANTM has always done odd little challenges like this... It's part of the fun! They mostly happen when they go abroad I think. You need a bit of something like this to stop it getting samey and boring. This is where (for me) BINTM goes wrong, there's just NO fun in that show!

BIB 2: TYRA has always given things her own name, again it's part of her and the shows charm! That little injection of fun and personality, setting it apart from other shows.

Ty-overs, Smize, H2T, Pot Ledom... All 'Tyra-isms'
This is why I love Tyra so much, she doesn't take herself seriously and she has fun, while being serious in the competition side (eg in judging) and really helping and guiding the girls with their modelling.

Unlike Elle Macphearson, who was just boring, unlikeable, and didn't seem to care for the girls or the competition (IMO of course)

What the hell is going on with this cycle??

It seems mean spirited between the two groups of girls, and sending Mariah home was absolutely ludicrous. She's stunning and her photo was beautiful, just not what they wanted. It was only her second shoot FFS. Mariah's photo was so much better than at least 5 of the other girls IMO, in particular Kyle and Azmarie.

Meh. And what's with the appearance of famewhores like the Kardashians and Kelly Osborne?

Bring back Cycle 15!

She's different. If she gets it right, she could be very arresting, because her look is so unorthodox.

BINTM does try. After so many cycles they're running out of ideas.

What has happened to my beloved ANTM...I used to love this programme!

The panel has gone downhill, guest judges gone downhill, Mr Jay doesn't get involved as much as he used to on photoshoots, makeovers are ridiculous and they didn't even bother showing us most of them being done this year!

I have no idea why that girl got sent home, it wasn't the worst photo by far!

I really don't blame Louise for walking out like she did, she was totally right, that Kelly Cutrone is really condesending and unsympathetic. I've total respect for her for not standing there and taking that, why should she listen to people telling her she has to accept that she's beneath other people? Good for her.

I could see why Louise walked out too. That Kelly woman was unnecessarily rude. Shame her photo was one of the best.

The photo shoot that the girls did for themselves was much better than the previous weeks. My favourite photo was Sophie's.

The girl the panel seem to see as the clear winner, Azmarie, does nothing for me. Those tatts put me off and anything modelled by her just looks like a bloke wearing it. How is that going to suit the average woman? So still not convinced.

They could have axed all the girls in the bottom four as none of them have a cat's chance of winning and I still think Simone is just awful. I can't think why she even got chosen for the programme. America must have thousands of pretty girls and they picked her. The standard among the American girls is certainly not as high as it usually is.

I completely agree with Louise. Kelly is rude and Louise had every right to call her out on it. I don't know Kelly nordo I want to. I understand that there is a hierarchy those at the top should treat others with respect. It's just a disgrace.

I was hoping for so much more (or less) this week... you know, a proper photo shoot just showing their faces maybe, less drama... oh well! I've kind of given up on this series being what I want it to be but I'll watch it to see who wins.

Kelly is indeed rude but I do think Louise has an attitude problem - she was the same on the UK show if I remember rightly. I think it shows a weakness walking off, and it's a shame because she was a great model, though it sounded like she already had her life sorted over here so didn't need to be on the show.

I do think AzMarie (or however you spell it) is pretty eyecatching and unique. I'm not sure the idea is that they represent an average woman, I mean most of them are way off average in terms of height/weight etc. I think if she had hair (!) she may be able to pull of the beautiful woman look in a frock. But I see her as a more gritty model who wouldn't be modelling for overly feminine items. I know nothing about modelling though, just my take.

Roll on the next series/something more interesting.

My back was up as soon as they said something along the lines of 'you're just a model, she's a publicist, you're beneath her....' WTF? Apart from being totally rude, surely if I was a model/ actor/ something else in that industry I would be the one hiring the publicist? So who's beneath who(m?)??

I quite like that Kelly wotsit lady but that was just weird.

I felt a bit sorry for Louise, she gave her all in that photoshoot, running around like a mad thing. She was just trying to do her best. I think she was being picked on a bit to see if she would lose it, which she did. They were gunning for her last week with the hair situation, which she backed down on in the end.

She is stunning and had a great photo. Shame she's gone.

They were just saying the publicist represented the client. Louise was one of my favourites, but she needs to learn to take criticism. She did well on the shoot, but she'd said in advance that she'd walk if anything was said against her in the judging and it didn't take much to set her off. I don't really know the modelling industry, but I suspect you need a thick skin.

I'm starting to get bored by the nationalism, especially the "team reward".

Me too. Although I think most of the "rivalry" is down to editing (as a lot of things are in ANTM). Only because you could see some of the Americans (I still don't know many of their names) were pleased for the Brits when they got through and vice versa. I do wish they'd downplay the "us and them" thing with the challenges and photoshoots though

There is something really 'off' about this series. The bloke with the tatts got best picture again!!!! and that girl who looks like a sack of spuds was saved over the girl with the immovable face.

God that Louise was obnoxious. What an opportunity for her, does she think if she wants modelling as a full time career and become really successful at it, it will be a cake walk everywhere and everyone is wonderful to each other?

The unthinkable has happened, I never thought it would. I have removed it from my series link, I don't actually care who wins and I don't like the format at all anymore. I suppose everything runs its course. I suppose looking back, the last one I really enjoyed from beginning to end was when Jaslene won it (season 8!!) but I kept on watching because I had loved it so much. Bring back Twiggy and the lack of Mr and Ms Jay now.......oh well.

Hope someone from the UK wins at least! Probably dip into the last couple of episodes.

I just caught up on this week's. I thought the photo shoot was much better this week - less of a stupid/pointless concept, though the show seems to be less about modelling. It irritated me how much they banged on about the American who 'was thinking of' leaving. It seemed to amount to nothing in the end.

Was quite surprised with the comment from the focus group which commented on one of the Brit girls' "African accent"... I'm surprised they even left that in the edit and that it didn't cause more controversy.

The focus group were rather racist IMO. They liked the blonde women best and the black women were not generally liked.

I think they picked Annaliese (sp?) as the winner though who was black. I was shocked at the other comment though... it seemed very ignorant and/or offensive.

Off topic, but I've just accidentally found out who won (I was looking for the name of the contestant who won the challenge).
