I'm not sure the people in the focus group were intentionally racist, I felt it was more ignorance of the British accent, that is assuming the 'Sarf London' accent was African.

In any event it was a stupid comment to make.

Just caught up with this, good on Louise for standing up for herself, but it's a shame she couldn't handle herself better, she did really well not answering back on the shoot, and I felt like cheering when she said 'no you were rude to me' but then emotions took over, I wish she'd stood there and kept her composure more, it's obvious that her attitude is covering up insecurity.

As for azmarie, I have a massive girl crush on her (but am straight!) no idea why but am very drawn to her, loved mr jays impression too...

Completely agree Bazaar.

For anyone who has watched The Hills you will know what a tartar Ms Cutrone can be. I felt that she completely misunderstood Louise's actions at the shoot. Louise has been a very successful plus size model here in the UK, and on shoots here she may well have 'mucked in' and helped - what is wrong with that I ask. Louise thought she was doing someone a favour.

Yes, she reacted badly at judging, but I cannot blame her for it - it must have felt very frustrating. And yes she did have an attitude during BNTM but once we heard of her struggles at home with her ailing Mother it became perhaps more understandable although not excusable.

I too like AzMarie - she is cool. calm and different, and as such is a breath of fresh air in ANTM.

Just caught up with last week's episode.

Thought the US girls were really quite mean to Kyle - but I thought Candace should have been saved over Seymone because she really is stunning and interesting in person. Seymone just looks like any other pretty plus size girl to me.

UK girls' photos were all pretty poor, but they deserved to all go through this week.

My favourite models though are Azmarie, Laura, Sophie and Catherine. So two from each "teams". Have no idea who wins and I'm avoiding Wiki and Google about this season for that reason, don't want it spoiled more than it has been already in another thread.

I know who leaves next week but other than that I've managed to stay spoiler free (even with being in the US and seeing the college edition) thank goodness, I HATE it when I know. A few years ago living put an advert on mid-show that revealed the winner (or final two, I can't remember which!)

I love sophie and ashley's b*tchy skits - they are brilliant, and l like the fact they've not departed from their BNTM personas!

My bets are on an american to win, but it'll be interesting to find out if a brit can actually challenge them? (I suspect sophie and ashley will do well)

Tonights episode was the best of the series. The British girls were great, miles better than the Americans who were just all over the place. Nadine did a a good job as a mentor. They could almost have been a real girl group.

So glad that Azmarie has gone. She was way too arrogant.

They were really good but I thought sophie was better in the video - they barely focussed on alesha's face (barring the last line!)

Ditto the americans, they edited it with flashing lights and lots of long shots which suggest they were Cr*P!

I loved Azmarie as nadine said there is something about her that makes you say 'hi....' (all breathy like ) but she kicked herself in the backside with that booty tooch challenge. Yes they're silly and pathetic but you do them as they are part of the show. They didn't really show her reasons for not doing it, I wonder if it was edited in the UK to fit the schedule?

Just catching up now. The Brit video was brilliant. Kathrine was the best for me but all 4 of them were amazing.

The Americans were all pretty bad bar Laura.

I loved Azmarie and I would assume she will do well regardless.

Kyle's eyes bother me.

Kyle bothers me in general! She defiantly pushed that ear away too!

I enjoyed the last episode the most from the series. Obviously I can't help but be on the side of the British girls in general but they really did completely out do the US in that challenge. I wasn't massively impressed with Alesha in B&INTM but I think she was fantastic in the video and she seems nicer too, I guess we can put that down to editing.

It made me cringe when they put subtitiles up for Nadine, they did that for Ashley a couple of times too. Jesus, they were speaking English, do they really think US audiences are that dumb?

Azmarie, gotta say I wasn't a fan. I do think she came across a bit too into herself at times. However, I respected her for holding her hands up and admitting that she made a mistake with the teach. I think she'll go on to work as well.

I can't work out whether this is purely me favouring the UK girls overall but they just seem like nicer people to me. I don't particuarly like any of the US girls' personalities. I know there is a cultural clash, its obvious when you watch regular ANTM, America's are just more likely to talk about themselves in favourable terms than Brits are and so it can seem grinding and conceited to us but there are always some, in the normal series' that still seem to have a sense of humility but none of those girls really do. There were probably some nicer US girls but they went out early.

I found it amusing too. But to be honest the odd word from Nadine can be difficult to understand as her accent is so strong.

Azmarie did have a bit of an attitude by the end of it so I was glad she went, but I did think she was pretty special. Tyra had a great point about her refusing to do the booty tooch thing because it was too demeaning (I think Azmarie said she felt it was too feminine?), yet the week previously she had been posing with her bits covered with a few leaves, draped in maple syrup and doing seductive poses

I don't know if it's the editing, or people just acting or what, but sometimes the 'storylines' of the episodes don't seem to make sense/lead anywhere/conclude, as if they've been badly edited or just made up for some interest. For example: this week with the teddy bear. The other week with the food eating challenge. Last week with Kyle never leaving.

Sophie stands out as head and shoulders above the rest on this cycle IMO. She is the only one that interests me. She shouldv'e got best photo last week instead of Alisha but at least they had the sense to pick her this week.

Seymone came second? how? she looked like a sack of spuds in that dress. I just don't get the love for her at all. Still at least the bug eyed girl has gone now.

I know, Seymone was awful, her tummy was sticking out! Not high fashion at all. I would of loved to have seen aleesha eliminated just to see the promised 'kick off'

Sch a shame Louise left, I think she could of done really well. But I agree it's Sophie all the way, I liked her in her bntm season too. Loved her boyfriends message!

I agree that Sophie is standing out but I think Alesha is strong as well. Which series of BNTM was Sophie in? I've only watched the last couple of series of that and don't want to google her in case I spoil this.

The only thing is I genuinely can't see a Brit girl winning ANTM so have got a horrible feeling Laura is going to start winning things in the coming weeks as I can't see Eboni winning.

Yeah I bet Laura gets it, I doubt a Brit will. Simons was a bit of a strop at the end wasn't she! Alesha has turned on Sophie now hasn't she? As soon as she started doing well she started slagging her off! Little cow....

I felt sorry for the bottom two this week. Seymone had head-gear that hurt, and I think she was right to mention it, especially as they'd been told earlier they needed to get poorly-fitting shoes etc fixed.

Eboni got criticised for not appreciating the branding they gave her, but it was rubbish. She was the youngest one so she got "30 never". That was so superficial, and not at all based on her personality, and also transient as in a few years she won't be so young. A very bad thing to build a brand around. It seems now quite a few of the women are getting marked down for lack of respect.

I really don't like all the "branding" stuff. It does seem like someone could have a brilliant picture but if the judges decided it didn't fit the brand that they'd been given right at the start then it won't be seen as a good picture by the judges. I don't think Eboni had a great picture this week anyway but she's obviously not keen on the brand she's been given and the judges don't like that. Also it seems to me that some brands would be much easier to portray than others.... for example didn't Seymone have fiercely real? To me that really just means take a picture because they always say plus size girls are fiercely real anyway. Would be much harder to be given a brand that meant you had to change the way you usually took pictures. Just my opinion.

The brands are just a gimmick really, if she'd just accepted it they'd of moved on, but she insists on fake pouting and they pick up on it.

I don't really get the 'branding'. Eboni's supposed to wear her hair in bunches every moment of her working life? Surely the designers etc are looking at her overall look, walk, face, and will immediately discount her hair because they'll be doing whatever they want with it. I'm not sure they'll take much notice if it's in bunches or not, but maybe I'm too cynical. Also with Alisha for example, her brand is her legs. So is she supposed to be doing a variation on getting her legs out every week? Wouldn't that be doing the same pose, which is what they criticise in people? Her legs are going to be long every week so it surely will depend on what she wears and how she's posing (or asked to pose) as to how visible they'll be which is not necessarily within her control.

I thought Simone had a really pretty face but a bad attitude. It's a shame; it would maybe be good if they did a plus-size series in future.

Glad Simone went last week.

This weeks shoot was terrible - all the photos (bar Laura's) were terrible. Its hard to believe they were their best shots. I blame the photographer. The wig looked terrible on Catherine so she was at a disadvantage to start with.

I do hope that Sophie doesn't have to keep the awful pink hair as it doesn't suit her. She looks better as a blonde.

Catherine's shot was appalling and unflattering and I seriously doubt that was her best shot - more like they know who they want to win/in the final and they were looking for her to go this week.

I reckon Laura will win, Sophie second based on it so far <- totally IMO.

I agree. It was telling when they asked her about emotion and she said the shot chosen at panel had been taken before she got emotional. Surely they would have chosen one of her a) showing more emotion and b) not holding her hand out like that. It annoys me when they ask why they posed in such a stupid way: of course most of them do a ton of other poses but that was the one picked for panel. I wonder who picks the photos. Is it supposed to be Tyra? Because if so they should give a reason why they picked the photo in the first place so we can be assured it's their best shot.

I don't know why but I've had the impression before that the photographer is supposed to be the person who picks the one best photo. Or maybe I'm getting mixed up with BNTM. Can't really remember why I think that,
