iPad app for forum

Is there an iPad app that can access this forum rather than using a browser?

I need access to lithium driven forums, phpBB as well as DS.

Nope. Some have asked for compatibility with the Tapatalk forum app but nothing seems on the cards.

Honest question...What's wrong with just using the browser?

I can sort of see a use for things like Tapatalk when using a smartphone, but I don't see the point for tablets.

I find that apps are formatted better than browser plus you don"t have to log in all the time, iPad browsers lack addons like lastpass etc...

Hmm. I see your point.

I still prefer just using a browser on a tablet, though. I don't think the formatting is an issue - because of the bigger screen size compared to a phone I think a browser works just as well for forums on a tablet as on a PC.

Logging in... I gave up on Safari long ago because of its crapness with passwords. I switched to Atomic Web Browser, followed by iCab Mobile. Both were great for forums and anything else that needed logging in because they would actually remember passwords. I now use Chrome & love it. it'll save passwords itself, or you can sync it with desktop Chrome.

Another thing I'd recommend is 1Password. Password manager (like Lastpass I guess), and it has its own basic browser too.

Also have a look at the icab browser
http://www.icab-mobile.de/

Its has a high degree of customization and addons,
And if your jb you can make it your default browser with browser changer etc.
