What really cheered me up over the last couple of episodes is seeing Ste smile at Brendan and be so willing to help him after all that he has done to him the game playing and possessiveness. This is the lesson that Brendan is learning: unconditional love.

I do believe what Ste is showing is love but he has not fallen in love with him again yet. That will come when he realizes that Brendan is being genuine. Hopefully when he saves his life next week this will begin to become clear.

At the moment I really think he'll go from Doug to Brendan and then back to Doug again and that'll be it. Ste and Doug & their little deli for the rest of their lives. (obv only if Kieron and PJ stay on oaks a long long time )

I agree. I longed for the day when Ste would soften towards him, and smile in his presence.

And I don't think he's quite in love with him again yet either. I think the past is still in his mind, and he's reluctant to go there again. But I think he's already falling for him slowly. He just needs more time.
