But it'll be nice to see her tonight, hope she actually gets a mention as I thought it was very rude of them to put the new girl in her costume, even down to the same hair colour, and then not mention at all that Aliona's absent because she's injured.

If Aliona's not mentioned tonight then I'll be extremely annoyed, it's very disrespectful!

It is good in terms of getting to see her dance with Pasha again, but I'm really surprised she's coming back so quickly...

That paper is wrong/out of date, unfortunately. Aliona tweeted yesterday 'Had to go to my main doctor again and together with my "ankle specialist" doctor they both decided that it's 4 more weeks of rest for me'

I've just checked her tweets and she's deleted the two weeks and is now saying 4 weeks, which is probably more like it as you indicated.

Just enough time for Jonny to do a full "Vertigo" and transform Iveta into a complete replacement.

Excitement aside 2 weeks did seem a bit to soon.

So Johnny will get to do his Argentinian Tango with Iveta, then. Can't wait.

I doubt if Aliona was in the least bothered about who wore the dress, it isn't as if it is hers, it belongs to the "show".

I think your right, Aliona will be more concerned about making a full recovery from her injury.

It was more that on the first show, Iveta looked at first glance to be Aliona (same costume as publicity photos, same hair colour, everything...). Im surprised they didnt say anything about it on day 1 (although yes I agree we had the VT and the accident for day 2).

Maybe they were hopeful that Aliona would be back very quickly and were doing a kind of 'continuity' thing?

I think Aliona wouldn't mind and be pleased for Johnny that he has got a worthy replacement.
It was a very much less than ideal lead in to the first dance, but I hope Johnny and Iveta can stay in long enough to give Johnny a fair chance.

I'm sure she will be pleased for Johnny.
