Utterly pointless character at present. He's never in it for very long and, when he does pop up, his plotlines are short-running, uninvolving and "humorous".

He's kinda lost without Jelly-Belly.

I really think its time to give him some romance!

Lou has a new leaf on life thanks to the arrival of Lauren and family. Would like to see more scenes between him and Amber/Mason/Bailey.

I wish we could see more scenes with lou and his kids and now grandkids

That might be the case, but I don't think he's be utilise to his full potential

The scriptwriters can do better with Lou, getting bored with the teen love stories

I wish Doug would be permanent so Lou and Doug could be the new double act. There are great together.

I do like Lou but he's constant trips away are quite annoying and unrealistic. I mean there's only so much of your Dad visiting, you can take. His daugher must be a saint!

I remember the good old days when Lou had everything and nice business and a family.. now I feel treated like a second-fiddle.

Tom Oliver is a legend and has been in many Australian programmes including Number 96 and Prisoner Cell Block H!

He's only there part time now but him constantly 'visiting' other members of his family is getting a bit tedious now. He pops up for 3 episodes then disappears for 3 weeks. They could just mention him now and again instead saying things like 'Lou's in the garden, popped to the shops, taking a nap' etc.

I think it's quite believable that he goes and sees his daughter or friends. He is retired so has lots of spare time on his hands. Didn't he go and help Ling Mae with something last time he went away? He also used to go and visit Lauren a lot. It's better they explain it that way than just not see him for weeks on end like they do on some Soaps.

i think Kathy needs to return full time as a romance for Lou
