Person of Interest S2: US Pace
Wow what a great season 2 opener. Loved the dog bit. And good to see more about the back story to the invention of the computer.
Not too keen on the kidnap story but interesting to see where it will go.

Just adding my agreement to it being a cracking first episode of season 2.

I really enjoyed it, and I'm please that this story looks to be setting the standard for the rest of the season.

Yes, a tremendous opener. So glad the the Machine only talks to Reece in code. A computerised voice could have been naff.

How long will it be until the Machine finds a way to get around its orders, and make Finch's captor to step out in front of a truck?

She did it so well. It took some time to realise there's something seriously wrong with the character. Other than being a vicious murderer of course.

Seconded. Or thirded. Or however far down the line we are now... But I DO like the kidnap story. Amy Acker is great as Root!

Another good episode, I'm glad the kidnap story is over.

Good to see the dog back. The team really seem to gel together.

Thought i'd bump this up seeing as i've just watched ep 2, thought it was another great episode but i would'nt expect anything less from Person of Interest, what's peoples thoughts on Amy Acker's character? 'Root', i'm a big fan of Amy's, love everything she's been in but as someone else pointed out she is 'creepy' in this show, cannot wait to see how it all developes seeing as Finch and Reece are back together and Sam Groves aka Root is still out there.

I have a feeling Root will eventually become an ally, not a part of the team but she will be there at times watching Reese's back. I know he doesn't need anyone to watch his back, but at some point it is inevitable that he be the one in trouble.

Root is not an out and out baddie/villain, she is an anti-hero who wants to not just stop bad things but eliminate evil from the world. This started with the man that murdered her best friend. And has carried on in to her adult life, unfortunately she never had anyone who believed in her or did not have an agenda of their own. So she has lost hope in the justice system to an even bigger degree than Finch and Reese.

Another great episode, I actually think ep 2 surpassed the season opener.

This show takes some beating for pure entertainment imo.

@hurrikane313. I can quiet agree with your thinking, eventhough Finch doe's not need anyone watching his back i think Root would be a great additiion to the team, plus Finch can only call on Carter & Fusco for so much help before it gets suspicious.

Plus i would love to see Amy Acker as a show regular.

Another good episode, although mainly due to the on going story rather than the one off story, which was a by the numbers, body guarding the spoilt rich girl, story. You just knew the boyfriend was bad as soon as you saw him.

There was the return of two of Reese's old enemies.

Some nice scenes between Finch and fido.

Another good episode, this show goes from strength to strength.

Liked the bit with the dog and the doughnut.

Good to see the back story with Finch and his wife. I wonder if the computer was trying to fix them up?
