Hi there

I have a daewoo dx 2880 widescreeen tv with sky

the picture seams to have inverted and daewoo tell me this is to do with me having sky

occasionally i see a grey boc in the top left corner saying "services parabola +46" the daewoo lady said this
may have some thing to do with it and it needs a service engineer out to adjust it (£65)

is there anyway i can adjust this myself ?

both sky and daewoo say this is a common problem, i have trawled round the net but have found nothing.

any ideas ?

to anyone with a daewoo dwx 2880 widescreen tv and sky.

If you see a grey panel come up in the left hand corner saying

"service v.5 00a tpu 29 +00046 parabola"

dont press the volume button as this will adjust the picture size....

apparently the above menu is part of the engineers menu and somes on because of the way sky and daweoo tvs are set up (dont know the techy ins and outs)

so if the picture becomes inverted this is what has happened.

unfortunetly i dont know how to get the intial menu up (i had to just wait till it came up again) but make sure its set at either +45 or +46 as it distorts the picture.

hopefully this post will help others with the same problem as im told its "common".
