Second album is on the way tho, Controversy was released not so long ago.

Her first album was amazing. She had all the goods. Didn't deserve to flop as badly as she did.

shes great.
i think her music is actually not as commercial as everyone may think. its kind of niche pop. i dont expect her to make it 'big' anytime soon.
i love controversy!

She's too pretentious

Natalia Kill is officially pointless.

Starting point: Her accent. The bitch is from North bloody Yorkshire. Not America.

She's faker than Nicki Minaj.

You don't happen to know of a blogging website called Unreality Shout do you Kanzi?

I loved "Free" last summer, but that was about it really. "Kill My Boyfriend" was alright but to be honest it all just didn't come together, plus like Kanzi said she's incredibly fake & not in a good, "artistic" way.

I do indeed. In fact, it's me that posts there. It's not actually mine, I just own a blog as part of the Music group they run. Are you a reader?

Agree with the comment about 'Free'. It's easily her best song but the inclusion of will.i.am. ruined it. 'Kill My Boyfriend' and 'Mirrors' are the closest things she has to solid pop songs, but even then she falls way short.

I am indeed a reader! I'd had a feeling for quite a while that you were either the same person or you read the blog too, I'd noticed the same sort of phrases and words being used here and there.

I agree about will.i.am, there wasn't any musical justification for him to be on there. The video was very useful for my Media Studies music video analysis so I'm grateful to her for that. I think she could get away with being completely contrived and false if she was fun - but she isn't. I don't think anyone, including her, knows what her USP is.

Agreed completely. She prides herself in being a stern-faced femme fatale and, as I say in my blog, more of an unattainable object of desire, rather than something capable of actual emotion. It's this fallacy that makes her so inaccessible as an artist. Just when you think you can begin to understand her in relation to another artists she comes out with "Please don't compare me to Lady GaGa please thank you" and you just think... Get the **** over yourself. You're not original, you're not fun, you're not worth the pretentiousness.

And yes, it's always good to know there are readers out there! :P I uploaded a new one about The Sound of Arrows yesterday if you're interested.

Preferred her as Verbalicious, Don't Play Nice is still played rather often on my ipod.

will.i.am rapped on Free to help promote her. She's on his label, and will.i.am being on the song would get it more attention. That's why he put her on Champagne Showers aswell (which is probably the most high-profile song she's done tbh, but it's a shame she didn't take Lauren Bennett's place on Party Rock Anthem instead lol).

She was ok but her album reminded me too much of a messy and slightly overproduced version of Lady Gaga's The Fame. The dance genre suited her but she needs to find the right style of dance music for her. Maybe she will find her sound for album 2?
