I just don't get her, her voice is isn't particuarly good and the awful, self penned songs she churns out all sound the same. She actually reminds me of a female version of George Formby, maybe she can sing When I'm Cleaning Windows on the live shows?

No, I cannot stand her. She's equivalent to Sarah Millican in the irritating department

I don't get it. She can't sing. The whitney tune was terrible as well as bootcamp. I didn't like her self-penned song and found it annoying (tea and toast!!!). It is not the competition for her.

same, I actually don't get how she even made it this far and how she'll go on with the show
her voice is okay, so I assume the only reason she's so popular is due to her 'creativity' in writing her own lyrics in her first audition, not sure how her popularity will last when she is no long able to do this in the finals where it basically just becomes a massive karaokefest, any attempts to do her own stuff will no doubt be stifled out as janet devlin found out last year |

She is quite easily the worst ever finalist.

She is more BGT material not Xfactor
she will never be a 'pop star' as long as I have a hole in my bum She is a joke for the Xfactor and I honestly think she is a producers choice, lets face it out of the three auditions I have seen her do she failed at two and was comedy in the other one |

I don't get her either, never have. I agree she's more BGT material and should have auditioned for that. Theme weeks will be interesting.

I get why she went through. She may have a rubbish voice but she's been in the tabloids more than the others.

She is the greatest entertainer of this age. Perhaps any age.

If the public vote correctly she should be one of the first to go. Poor choice.

I love her, I thought her first audition was great, but I'm inclined to agree with those who have said she'd be better off on BGT. I just don't think she's gonna come out of the live shows looking good. I just can't see her adapting to the theme weeks, she has her style and whilst I love it, I'm not sure if the x factor's the best platform for it.

![]() Many threads here have shown there are plenty of people who don't get Lucy. Audience responses, download sales and a handful of us here testify that quite a few do. It'll be interesting to see how it goes from here. |

I personally think she's great but only at her own material. She may struggle with themes. I would have preferred Amy to go through if I'm honest.

![]() So true. The reaction was like she was some kind of original, never-seen-before act
