They could rush out The White Queen but it would be a very tight squeeze. By the first Sunday of January which is when CTM will probably launch, about 7 episodes of The White Queen would've been filmed. It would take maybe another 6 weeks to film the remaining 3 episodes plus more time for post-production. So if they do start airing the series before it's finished filming, it would give the last few episodes little time in terms of post-production etc. Perhaps they could still use the CTM lead-in and launch the first episode off the back off CTM in February, that is a more viable option.

9.30 Dancing On Ice

Based on ITVMedia, it seems quite set in stone that Dancing on Ice will be split into two next year on Sundays, as usual. But it might not necessarily be like the above traditional schedule of drama at 8.30pm and DOI results at 9.30pm - because if they do that it will mean Mr Selfridge is pretty much DOA going up against CTM half-way through.
They could do something like: 18.30- Dancing on Ice, 20.00- [Half an Hour Show], 20.30- Dancing on Ice Results, 21.00- Mr Selfridge
Having one DOI show from 7-9pm (including the results) would make more sense as viewers would stick with it more but ITV must have their reasons for splitting it into two shows - must be something to do with maximising ad breaks doing it this way. I'm not sure what the half-an-hour programme at 8pm could be but because the show then is just 30 minutes, perhaps DOI viewers would be more likely to stick around for the results than if the gap between the two DOI shows was 1 hour. It is worth remembering too that in Q1/Q2 next year, about 7 episodes of Coronation Street will be displaced due to football coverage on Wednesday/Friday nights and up to 4 episodes of Emmerdale will be displaced due to potential British Europa League knockout matches on Thursdays. So it is possible (but probably unlikely as schedulers don't seem to plan rescheduling lost soap episodes too far in advance), that they could put those displaced soap episodes on Sundays at 8pm for 9 consecutive weeks sandwiched between the two DOI shows. Unlikely, I know, but it is a possibility if they were to plan it well in advance.
