Obviously Downton will move ahead in the officials due to its gigantic timeshift, but I also notice from Broadacst that in its first weekend, Strictly timeshifted considerably more than X Factor adding 1.22m on Friday and 1.27m on Saturday compared with X Factor's 0.76m on Saturday and 0.49m on Sunday.
X Factor's relatively low timeshift on Sunday is completely understandable because of the four Strictly / X Factor programmes on at the weekend Sunday night X Factor, with its elimination, is the one people would be most anxious to see live or as near to as possible. (A Strictly elimination is not quite such a "life-changing" moment.)”

We knew that. It's Downton's big timeshifts that'll see it reach number 1 for the week. When the officials come out I think Strictly on Saturday 13th could possibly top Sunday's edition of The X Factor.
