there is no question this is not ITVs fault.
That said I find it mildy amusing that a live episode, of a British soap in put in danger due to the weather, even if its the weather in Poland.

I want to say its unfair on every other broadcaster to have their scheuldes mucked around with for Emmerdale, but they have already had their schedule torn up, and made worthless.
The FA is not in the schedule building business, its in the football business, they will put on a game (to the best of its ability) but it does expect the broadcasters who signed a contract saying they would air those games, to actually air those games.
There maybe a line about "national importance" in the contract but can we really say that Emmerdale is of "national importance"?
The good thing for ITV, is that this has created alot of extra buzz around Emmerdale, making it very clear what day and time it should be on to many, who may not have been aware before.
Danccwhilst I agree, ITVs reputation with football is in the toilet, I suspect there maybe some sympathy for the position they have been put in, from even the biggest football fans. Certainly think they can over look some ITV 4 build up. (if it comes to that). If the football does air after Emmerdale, it will ratings for Emmerdale: Extra on ITV 2 alot more interesting.
