Hate the comic.

Does anyone remember this comic came out in the 90's.

had a lot of Black comedy in it sort of a grunge comic.

I'm guessing you mean "Hate" by Peter Bagge. (I think some quotation marks might help your title).

It pretty much stopped being about Grunge in #16 when the lead character (Buddy Bradley) moved away from Seattle. Unlike most comic books, the characters got older and moved on with their lives in something approaching real-time.

It seems to have finally stopped after turning into an almost yearly comic (with back material of varying length).

It's one of my favourites of all time. Even my appearence-obessed older brother admitted to liking it. All the issues are available in collected formats and are highly recommended.

Peter Bagge's Neat Stuff and the issues of Weirdo he edited are well worth checking out, also Martini Baton if you can find it.
