Have Lovefilm got slower in sending out dvds/Blu Rays in the last couple of weeks?

Generally I've always found Lovefilm pretty quick at sending out a new title the same day they receive the returned one - however in the past couple of weeks they seem to have got a fair bit slower. Eg I sent a Blu Ray back on Friday on the week before last, and only got its replacement the following Thursday.

I hope this is just a temporary blip!

I've noticed this as well. Sent back the avengers on a friday, they did not register it as back until the tuesday, and safe was sent back on a monday, and did not get checked back in till thursday, after I had "reported a problem". Have noticed today that the 2 films I sent back yesterday were still showing as at home, but my next 2 rentals were about to be despatched? Seems they dont check them back in until they send out the next ones? Noticed that they seem to be updating the website so it might be a temporary thing.

Similar problems for me too. Last week 2 DVDs sent back on Monday didn't appear as returned until Thursday and the next DVDs were "dispatching soon" before the previous ones were removed from the list. A DVD sent back on Monday this week hasn't appeared as returned onTuesday, which is unusual.

Last week, on their Facebook page, they apologised for the continued disruption to the streaming and disc services as a result of their "scheduled maintenance", saying they "are now fully operational".

I didn't have any problems with streaming but did have disc delays, back to normal now this week.

There was also a delay when i sent some blurays back and them sending out some more, i then recieved an email apologising and they have credited my account with £4 to apologise for the inconvenience.

Slightly off-topic, does anyone have problems where you prioritise Blu-rays, but never get them, they seem to get stuck,sometimes for weeks and they send DVDs from lower down your list (non priority) until you complain, then lo and behold, they are next to be despatched. Is the way round this to only have Blu-rays on your list, then they have to send you something, because they have more standard DVDs in stock than Blus? Have given up waiting for some Blu rays recently, and deleted them and replaced with DVDs, then got them straight away! (Sherlock Holmes was the most recent example of this).

I find that if you have some Blu Rays and some dvds on your list (as not every film or tv series is out on Blu Ray) then you only ever receive the Blu Ray titles. I don't think they have ever sent me a DVD since I first bought a Blu Ray player and started selecting Blu Rays on my list!
